Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

My WD external hard drive fits perfectly and securely in it with space for the USB cable. It seems well made and It’s got a nice, hard shell that should protect it if dropped.

I love this carrying case! I had a WD drive inside one of these and it was in a desk drawer. We were flooded out of our home and lost everything below 40 inches (amount of water that came inside!) I had little hope that the drive survived since it was submerged, but, to my surprise, not only was the drive usable it was dry! I just ordered 3 more of these cases to protect more drives we purchased for backups.

As always great job Amazon! The case is very sturdy and protects my hard drive perfectly!My only bone to pick with it was the price and I bought 2 about 1 week apart and price went up that quick :(

Have been looking for a case to keep my external hard drive in and this is a perfect fit. There is plenty of room to place the cable inside the case as well. Its a hard case so if you drop it you wont have to worry about damaging your device.

Good basic case - fits my Seagate Backup Plus Slim 2TB perfectly (I also have the rubber frame case on it and it still fits). Perfect for my needs.

This fits my passport drive perfectly--the case feels sturdy and theres extra room inside for the drives short USB cable, another (retractable) lan cable, and a small SD card reader.

Its a bit confusing trying to figure out which case works better for my new WD My Passport 2T drive (the new design with straight, not curved corners). The My Passport Essential Case seems like it was designed for the older style My Passport so I went with the slightly larger External Hard Drive Case and it fits perfectly, as you can see in my photo. Im happy.

Fits the WD Passport perfectly. Includes a strap to hold the drive in place and a pocket to hold the cable. Sides are sturdy and the zipper is good quality.
