Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

This is the second or third case I have purchase over the last couple of years. Like the fit & finish. Just enough weather proofing to get the job done. NO A WEATHER PROOF CASE.

Would be good if it came with a thin small foam pad to protect cords from causing damage to stored device(s). Also if there were a hard case version that would be preferable. If it gets put under much pressure when packed you can still end up with damaged items.

Just what I needed for my WD My Passport. Fits perfect.

This cased was purchased for my WD 1TB WD Elements Portable USB 3.0 Hard Drive. purchased from amazon. The case performs well and has enough room for the drive, USB cable(comes with drive), and a small USB wireless stick. The case is not hard enough to stand on but should protect the contents from normal drops and falls while carrying.

Fabric is sturdy, strong and quality material. Dont like that Amazon tag on the zipper. Enough space to put the Hard disk and wire also I can keep other wires, headphones etc.

I like the pouch for the cords and etc and fits many different kinds of sd drives

This was the third case I purchased for a G-technology external drive. Even though these were claimed to fit G-tech drives, neither did. Before ordering this case, I read the user Q&As more carefully, then decided to try it. Just confirming that it really does fit the G-tech 1 gig drive I have, and would probably easily fit a 2-gig drive. (Not weighing in on whether it would fit larger drives as I would need to check the dimensions.) The case itself is nothing fancy, but is a good basic soft-sided case for those who prefer soft-sided cases. Zipper zips easily and doesnt get caught. There is ample room to store the connecting cable. I havent had this long enough to rate the durability, but so far, so good. I have a similar Amazon basic case for a slightly smaller WD drive that I purchased a few years back and it still looks like new -- so I am hoping that this one will also age well.
