I am one of those people that always needs air moving, especially when I sleep. Ive always played a balancing game between how much air I can move against how much noise I can tolerate. Ive just accepted that the summer months will involve more noise than winter, with the air flow needed. Straight away, this fan is able to move much more air than similar fans, with virtually no noise at even medium flow levels. Very easy to set up. I particularly like the square-ish base so that it doesnt immediately look like every cheap floor fan available. I am very happy and cant imagine this review will change at all in the future.

Very nice fan. I had one that was too loud and low was full force. This fan cools well. Nice features on the remote. Love the timer and that this fan allows you to change direction by remote! Recommend!

I got this fan for sleeping: 1. To create some white noise 2. To keep air moving to sleep cooler My old fan had issues where it would change speeds throughout the night which woke me up. This fan on low is whisper quiet but at max setting creates a nice level of noise without blowing the whole room apart with wind. Features I love besides that: 1. Rotation is controlled thru the remote so I can adjust the fan while still in bed if I want more or less wind one me. 2. Bright LED that auto turns off after a few seconds to keep the room dark.
