It doesnt get much better than this folks. bought this cpu 4 months ago and its been a dream. Coming from a 8350 to this is a drastic improvement in my pc gaming and 4k video editing for work. Paired with a 1070ti, x370 gaming pro carbon, and 16gb of tforce ddr4 ram itll run almost any game at top settings. Super easy to install, and looks good too. Would suggest this CPU to anyone looking to upgrade.

This may not be the absolute fasted gaming chip but do yourself a huge favor.. Turn off your fps monitoring software and just enjoy it. You simply cannot beat this CPU for anywhere near $200. Compared to my i5 6600k it goes back and forth dependinggame on the game. My 6600k is overclocked to 4.5ghz and the 2600x is running at 4.1ghz. But the extra cores and threads are sometimes needed in newer games and will definitely be utilized in all games pretty soon here. So think future proof and dont worry aboit loosing 10% single core performance. All that will change as games are designed more for these CPUs. Intel may have slightly faster options by the cost increase vs performance gains are way off base and borderline insulting. Get one and you wont be sorry.

Buy it while its still $149. Im sure with the chip i received i could do 4.4 ghz stable, probably better than that with after market cooler. The included cooler is excellent.

Built a gaming rig. This seems to be very adequate for the job. Can be over locked. Great value.

Was a huge upgrade, the extra cores have made having simultaneous applications running a breeze compared to the old 4 cores.

This is a fantastic CPU for the price. Its everything I need and then some. However, the stock cooler that comes with it is a pain to install and will leave you frustrated for hours.
