Great for both video work and gaming. Snagged this for 580SGD, an excellent price for the performance offered by this chip. I was debating between the 5700X, 5800X3D, and this, but when i saw this go for such a low price, I just went for it and I certainly didnt regret it!

Was getting lower performance than anticipated with a Ryzen 7 2700x and a 6900XT. Simply swapped in this cpu and solved all my problems. If youre upgrading be sure to update your bios with your old chip first.

Paired with a good gpu it will run anything you may want on high settings with good fps

Initially, I didnt want to buy the 5900X as the 5800X served me well enough, though the extra cores would have been a little useful. However, when the sale came, it was better than even when I got my 5800X and that wasnt my real motivator for grabbing this. The real point was that I needed a 3000 series to upgrade someone that I was paying them back for assisting me with something. I initially was checking for a decent 5000 series to upgrade them from, but I was concerned that the system may not handle well and while they didnt need anything gaming oriented, I still wanted to give some teeth where it needed while using a B350 board. So I settled with buying the 5900X to give the 5800X to my father in exchange for the 3600X that he had which was mine originally. Hence the minor step up.

A super-powerful cpu, I ran cinebench and it topped the chart, first time Ive ever had a cpu this fast.

Rien à dire cest un bon processeur, il faut un bon Watercooling. Pour ma part un Aorus liquide 360 fait le job.

When the processor first arrived I was incredibly excited as it was the last piece I needed for my PC. However, when it arrived that packaging was badly damaged to the point that I was worried that one of the pins could be damaged. Thankfully they were fine but mistakes like this with a product this fragile and expensive are inexcusable.
