gaming and the rest done easily. Feels sometimes as its too easy for this processor, never overcharged.

This is a beast of a cpu. Coming from an i7860 rig i had for over a decade this is amazing. This is also my first build using AMD which i am impressed, considering their bad run with bulldozer.

Replaced a Ryzen 7 3700 with this one to maximize the life of my Mobo and Ram before upgrading to the next platform and DDR5. Works smoothly, stays cool, but no revolutionary difference to the 3700 it replaced. There is significantly better responsiveness when converting raw images via DxO Prime (an image processing program) but otherwise pretty similar. Using the Prism cooler that came with the 3700, it appears to spool up less frequently for some reason. Idle temps and max temps just about 10deg higher, no problem.

Amazing CPU as everyone is probably aware by now. Have been using this daily for just over a year. Installed in a X570 Aorus Pro WiFi/32gb 3600 mild oc @ 3733mhz/xfx Merc 6800xt. Have this rig plugged into a 27 155hz monitor and an OLED tv with 4k/120hz. Will last me a long time as I dont think Ill need a reason to upgrade for a while. This rig is a central entertainment center - music/movies/YouTube/games/etc. It gets a lot of use everything from my electric guitar to an E50 dac/L50 amp stack, another wireless dac/amp for when Im in my favorite chair and using the PC with the TV but need to be quiet, blah blah. For home use I dont really see how anyone could need more power is the point Im trying to make. Crushes every benchmark. Plays all games Ive tried with no issues and its a different experience with 4k/120hz on the TV thru the receiver and 5.1 surround sound. Loads all applications quickly. Its a little touchy to get above 1800 infinity fabric, but still can depending on your choice of mobo/ram combination and maybe a little luck.

Nice upgrade to the Ryzen 7 that was in my rig before. Price drop made it evem better. Benchmark test put my system 3rd worldwide at time of testing.

Runs super hot so need new fans now, otherwise it sounds like heathrow in my room. Great chip though

Went all-in upgrading from a 3770K. Totally overkill but its works great and Im glad I bought it.
