AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Processor is great but Amazon sold a processor that wasn’t a retail version and I couldn’t get it warrantied when it failed

An hour of tinkering got me to 4.64GHz all-core, with temps below 80C. ASUS 570 TUF gaming, 32GB 3600C16 Ballistix, and Arctic 280mm AIO.

Its a good processor but the issues all start when you try too overclock and have PBO enabled. you need too disable PBO and set your voltages manually soo it gets enough power as Motherboard Manufactors need too release a bios update too fix PBO as it voltage drops on idle and causes system reboots and there is alot of talk about it all over the net but its not the seller fault its AMD for not being ready for it.

went from a 7700k to this and can really feel the difference from quad core.

You probably don’t need my review to tell you this processor is legend. I got mine for $350 and couldn’t be happier. With the new 7000 series just around the corner, these will probably continue to become more affordable options for those looking to upgrade on a budget.

No doubt its expensive, but the performance you get for your money is well worth it.

What can I say, at half off this was the time to upgrade my AM4 to support my newer Evga 3090ti. A huge leap from my previous 3800x in performance.

Pros:

This CPU has been the fix to all my problems. More cores more “bleep” if you know what I mean ;) but anyways. This has the perfect temps for a 240mm AIO and perfect temps for PBO as well couldnt ask for a better suite CPU going from a 4 core intel i5 u7600k to a R9 like holy cow! Hoping to collab with AMD someday still going to reach out and see what I get. I’m trying to make my self a Home media Server with AMD and ASUS products make the best NAS I can make with a limited budget!! Thank you hope to hear from you AMD

Absolutely best CPU for this price range, low had no problems with it so far and working speed is super fast which makes my work even faster.
