Acheté pour remplacer un 5800x défaillant. Je suis surpris de voir que le 5900x chauffe moins.

If you are looking to get CPU for gaming as well as running multiple applications or virtual machines this is is the cpu that wont disappoint. However be careful when choosing the motherboard as the cheaper 570 motherboards might be very problematic

This CPU is perfect for gaming, I’ve never had a full AMD system till now and I don’t regret it. I was surprised on the thermals since I originally adopted an intel cpu idle temps were around 25-35 degrees, but the 5900x shows 40-50 idle with my AIO. Not to worry anyone but the thermals are natural for the performance you receive. I managed to buy one from Amazon directly please don’t support the scalpers, join a discord that tracks limited stock items like Falcodrin he also livestreams on twitch for GPU’s!

I wanted a CPU for video processing. I bought this in 2023 for 340 USD. I guess the value for money is good, but it is an interesting learning experience to configure the BIOS Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO2) parameters so that you get the best out of the CPU. These CPUs are designed so that the user (or Motherboard / BIOS vendor) is ultimately responsible to tune performance/heat management parameters via PBO2. If you tune these parameters incorrectly, the CPU will periodically (in the order of seconds) reach some internal temperature limit, throttle down, cool down, speed up, hit limit again - ultimately resulting in deteriorated performance. One has to use a Windows program called Ryzen Master together with the target application that intends to use up all CPU performance, to observe that the CPU is constantly hitting its performance limits instead of doing this fluctuation. The limits also depend on the Motherboards - different Motherboards can provide different amount of current to the CPU. And the cooler.

Lo conseguí a un precio descente en amazon 14mil y a meses, fuera de eso la cantidad de nucleos y la velocidad/performance de estos estan a otro nivel, si lo quieres para jugar costea mas el 5600 pero si lo quieres para a parte trabajar o algo que requiera muchos nucleos, esta es la mejor opcion.
