> 3 dayI upgraded from the 2700X a month ago, and this has been an outstanding CPU so far. It does run hotter than Id expect a CPU to run (Im sitting around 80°C on modern triple As), but thats the temperature AMD says is expected under heavy load, so its not that big of a deal. Im running a Noctua NH-U12A.

> 3 dayThe best thing about the Ryzen processors is that you have a lot of upgrade options. If you purchased a 3600X, you can stick a 5950X in the same socket. Well, ok, that wont work with every motherboard but generally speaking Im very happy with the plug-and-play nature of AMD cpus over the last few years, its saved me a lot of money.

> 3 dayGreat for gaming and CPU intensive tasks at a decent price. 5800X3D slightly faster at 1080p resolution, but at higher res hardly any difference and the 5900x is cheaper.

> 3 dayI managed to buy at MSRP, it now goes for $540 on Newegg quite often, Im thankful the Zen 3 markup was not scaled making this overall the best value CPU and should last me 3-4 years easily. Really snappy processor Im a heavy multitasker and it switches programs instantly no fuss. On my Asus Tuf gaming plus X570 it runs at 4.55GHz stock out of the box on a cheap 360mm aio.
