> 3 dayThought I would have to wait longer but I didnt. Thank you Amazon. I have enjoyed having the cpu. I play Far Cry 6 and it runs very smoother. Video is 1660gt 6 gig and with 32 ram memory. Had a 2700x before and it ran well but I can see the quick response on all my apps. Using Windows 10 Pro for now. Glad I was able to get this 5900x cpu.

Greater than one weekI upgraded from the 2700X a month ago, and this has been an outstanding CPU so far. It does run hotter than Id expect a CPU to run (Im sitting around 80°C on modern triple As), but thats the temperature AMD says is expected under heavy load, so its not that big of a deal. Im running a Noctua NH-U12A.

> 3 dayPackage arrived fast and all is perfect. Easy install combined with Nochua DT-15 and MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk, running cool with around 55°C on AMD Balanced power plan (cpu max 96%) for daily use on low electrical power usage . Wenn i need top speeds i switch to High Performance and temps are around 65-75°C. Cinebench R23 stress test brings it around 83°C.

> 3 dayReceived the first cpu and it was dead out of the box. Received the replacement and the box was not sealed and the chip was just laying loose in the box unprotected. It rattled around just picking the box up off the porch. Returning this one as well.

> 3 dayGood processor, you can try to undervolt to improve your temperatures without decreasing the performance

> 3 daymy workload (audio production) was overwhelming the ryzen 2600 I had previously. Now, the 5900x easily handles the same projects that used to fail and crash. Really a life saver. I will say, it took me several frustrating hours to realise that the BIOS must be updated (using the old CPU) if youre using an older motherboard. Also, the 5900x runs hotter, occasionally surpassing 90 degrees celsius with my AMD wraith stealth cooler, therefore I bought an aftermarket cooler (scythe fuma 2). Im very happy about this CPU.
