AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

On my old cpu, I could handle games well, but when i got this cpu, the performance is amazing, now only thing holding me back is my gpu. For work, zbrush a pro artist tool, while great on older cpu(Id start to lag at 3 million poly) now 3 million is childs play. Ive still got more to push it to its limits. but right now enjoying it. Hopefully more up for grabs for thoses needing the part. as it wasnt easy to obtain.

Bought it 4 months ago to build my pc everything worked fine till last week when my pc died. Brought it to memory express for a diagnostic. The technicians found the cpu (Ryzen 9 5900x) to be defective. Im starting the warranty process for the part and will update the review on how well that goes. Update - warranty process was ok everything is over email. I had to pay international shipping to the states which was 100 dollars to send it back. They paid shipping to send me the new unit.

I dont know if I had bad luck with ordering all my parts through Amazon, but the first core stopped working after a day. I got the other one in and its working amazing.

The 5900x is hard to get, but so worth it if you can get your hands on one. Great CPU. Handles gaming and media creation beautifully. Specs are as advertised. Im running it under an H100i platinum and its idle is around 35 to 45c depending on what Im doing and 70 to 75c under heavy load. Havent OCed it all because its fast enough for me as it is. The only times I have seen it go above 80c is when I torture test it with Prime 95. Great product. 10/10.

Un ottimo processore, veloce, potente...un po costoso...ma con quelle caratteristiche non poteva essere anche economico...nei test che ho fatto si mostra molto veloce,tende sotto pressione a scaldare parecchio,ho dovuto prendere un buon dissipatore,e sto sui 45 in idle,ed al massimo 87..naturalmente e una CPU piu adatta a rendering.. o a compilazioni..es Maya, Unreal engine,zephyr..ecc nei giochi se la cava egregiamente.
