Greater than one weekThe Ryzen 9 5900X is a great CPU for gaming. It is cheaper than its Intel counterpart and is unlocked and ready to be overclocked. Really really easy to install straight out of the box given that you have an AMD compatible Motherboard (I recommend ASUS Crossfire Viii)

Greater than one weekExcellent bang for the buck. As a hard gamer and graphic designer, I push this thing, and its fast as hell. Pair it with a sound video card and a decent amount of ram; this is all you need, promise!

> 3 dayI matched this AMD 5900x with 32GB of RAM. Now I can transcode video, listen to music, watch videos, and have 50 tabs open in multiple browsers all at the same time with ease. Its good for games, but my GPU needs an upgrade.
