> 3 dayInstalling is as simple as slotting the pins into the slots, and pulling the locking lever up then down again. You need a 3rd party cooler device as the processor comes in an otherwise empty box. Im sure it says that somewhere or is just a known standard with AMD, but I wasnt expecting it.

> 3 dayIve been building machines for a long time - and honestly, Ive never heard of this... a CPU without that ability to process graphics. I purchased one of the highest ROG motherboards and purchased this CPU to start the build process. Knowing that the board has HDMI and a display port - figured I was in good shape to start the build. NOPE. After installing the CPU, Memory and hard drive - I had no screen... tried everything no screen... Turns out that the process does not have the ability to process graphics and send out to the motherboard. You need a separate video card - now typically I get a video card at some point but in this case, I had to immediately in order to install Windows.

> 3 dayThe CPU would boot to Bios screen but would not install windows 10 or 11. I tried with 2 different MB’s, updated flash on them, 2 different GPU’s, and 2 different coolers.

> 3 dayMainly use my PC for Blender and swapped my 3600 for a 5900x. Saw a ~50% reduction in render times for a variety of scenes after overclocking to 4.6GHz. ~40% improvement just out of the box. Not much impact on viewport performance as mainly uses GPU. Runs about 80-85C at max load (using Noctua air cooler). Highly recommend if youre using creative software and looking for a considerable performance improvement. Definitely helps my workflow as I spend less time fiddling with sampling settings to optimise my render times.
