> 3 dayI had a really bad experience at first. The thermal paste wasnt good. It was very adhesive. Actually unseated my 1700x ryzen 7 at one point. I was able to straighten the one pin on that, get a new moba, update the bios with the 1700x, and then finally get the 5900x to work.

> 3 dayI have to say it’s over the budget for me. I should buy a 5800 or probably 5600. 5900 works but not the best one for my computer

> 3 dayI had recently upgraded my video card, but was not able to get the ULTIMATE settings I was hoping for AND the Ryzen 7 3700x was getting really hot when I asked it to keep up with the new video card. I put in this CPU with a radiator and now im using LESS electricity for cooling and getting great performance from the CPU.

> 3 daySomeone wise once told me you never regret spending extra for good tools. I have always been behind tech wise. Got into some more cpu heavy stuff and was overheating, then upgraded case and was maxing cpus. Finally just decided I’m on my computer enough I should just go for it. Originally started with 32 ram (8x16) and was still able to stall it out with really video heavy stuff now I have double that and am unable to slow this thing down.

Greater than one weekWay less stuttering, higher 1% and average fps. Good for price now. Tarkov runs a lot better but still not perfect, maybe I should have went with the 5800x3d. Only time will tell but overall very satisfied with this cpu and 2070s combo

> 3 dayThe 5900x is hard to get, but so worth it if you can get your hands on one. Great CPU. Handles gaming and media creation beautifully. Specs are as advertised. Im running it under an H100i platinum and its idle is around 35 to 45c depending on what Im doing and 70 to 75c under heavy load. Havent OCed it all because its fast enough for me as it is. The only times I have seen it go above 80c is when I torture test it with Prime 95. Great product. 10/10.
