AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Awesome cpu for gaming and other tasks. I paired it with the asus rog crosshair viii x570 dark hero. Very happy I was able to get one

Yeah give this a hard pass unless youre willing to gamble and RMA.

It doesn’t get much better on the AM4 platform. It was easy to install, very simple to clean and even more so powerful.

Best processor ever made. Intel sucks

Its a good processor but the issues all start when you try too overclock and have PBO enabled. you need too disable PBO and set your voltages manually soo it gets enough power as Motherboard Manufactors need too release a bios update too fix PBO as it voltage drops on idle and causes system reboots and there is alot of talk about it all over the net but its not the seller fault its AMD for not being ready for it.

It meets the requirements of the specs and does all the work faster. But the price goes lower and lower so Maybe Ill buy it when it gets to its lowest.

So far the ryzen 9 handles everything I can throw at it with ease. Gaming is effortless and video editing is super easy. To be completely honest I’m not using this cpu to its full potential, as a matter of fact, I haven’t gotten it above 40% on the task manager. No matter what you do, the cpu wants more. Anybody who will be doing heavy cpu work, or just wants bragging rights and being able to say they have a ryzen 9, I recommend this cpu highly.
