AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

When on sale definitely pick this up! I purchased this at $389. MSRP is $570 so why wouldnt you pick this up? My only issue I have with it, that is with any AMD chip. It runs hot. Ive had a 2700x and a 5600x. Temps on those havent reached as high as this. Mind you I have a Noctua d-15 cooler and it still runs toasty (running on a b450 so maybe it will run a little cooler on a newer MOBO). More cores the better!

I purchased both the 5900x and the Asus Dark Hero VIII for a new build.

Odiei o cuidado com a embalagem. Em um envelope com plastico bolha, fragil. A caixa do processador veio toda amassada, sem cuidado algum, sob risco de ter algum dos pinos tortos.

Everything was as expected. Fast and flawless service, great processor from AMD. Definitely recommended!

Il processore AMD Ryzen 9 5900X è un prodotto attualmente molto difficile da reperire e quei pochi che si trovano costano cari per cui bisogna essere disposti a pagare di più per averlo. Nel mio caso, dopo infinite ricerche ne è emerso uno ad un prezzo sicuramente elevato ma inferiore rispetto ad altri venditori. Consegna velocissima. Prestazioni mozzafiato! La mia precedente Cpu era un Ryzen 3700x, un processore comunque di tutto rispetto. Il 5900x lo supera sotto ogni aspetto, è un prodotto spettacolare!

It works and is fast and came as desribed.

First I will start with the (very) minor con, its warm. Like really warm. I went from a Ryzen 7 1700 on a high end air cooler that barely went to 70 degrees C.

does what it should and stays cool with overclocking

Mainly use my PC for Blender and swapped my 3600 for a 5900x. Saw a ~50% reduction in render times for a variety of scenes after overclocking to 4.6GHz. ~40% improvement just out of the box. Not much impact on viewport performance as mainly uses GPU. Runs about 80-85C at max load (using Noctua air cooler). Highly recommend if youre using creative software and looking for a considerable performance improvement. Definitely helps my workflow as I spend less time fiddling with sampling settings to optimise my render times.
