AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Its really good cpu, can pretty much run anything at max settings for gaming purposes, it handles everything like a feather and use of 12 cores is plenty enough for generation to come.

Lost TBs of data trying to troubleshoot this CPU. Double checked compatibility with my mobo before I ordered. Spent over 4 hours trying to boot into windows before I realized the CPU was totally bricked. Made sure the bios were updated and default settings. Looking to get a replacement. Not sure Im going to order another 5900x.

It is not a new product, the box was opened before. You must include that in the description. I paid for a new product!

Last year, I built a 3700X machine on an X570 board so that I would have all of the features of the 5000 series of CPUs available on my board if I decided I wanted to upgrade later. Last week, my 10850K main PC started acting weird, randomly restarting out of the blue, so rather than immediately spend a bunch of time trying to troubleshoot that, I decided to get a 5900X and drop it into my X570 board instead. And boy is this thing quick. Its snappy with everything it does. I have it paired with an RTX 3080 and gaming with this combo is pure bliss. Load times in games are noticeably faster with the 5900X over even the 10850K.

Glad I went with the 5900X, nothing but a great experience, and by far the fastest computer I have ever had.

Always been an and cpu user and this one doesnt disappoint. Super easy to install and lightening fast in execution. Only downside is that no where in the as does it say it does not come with a cooler. After 2 years use of my other and cooler a new one would have been a nice extra

It’s one of the best CPU’s on the market problem is the one I bought can damaged and it’s past it’s return date. I never opened it until yesterday when I went to build my pc and the problem is it’s past it’s return date.
