I know people will say that I just have to follow the directions and it will work fine. The female threads WILL STRIP if you over torque it. I made this mistake...BUT!...I fixed it which works way better anyway. I was able to cut away some metal accessing the ends of the bolts. I then put nylon lock nuts on the bolts. (It is impossible to fit a wrench or socket on the bolt but they are so close to the each other you can put a screwdriver in between to keep it stationary while you tighten the bolt head. Other than that....very awesome step..very durable. Oh...and the piece that you have to remove from the bumper (I had a 2500 RAM) didnt really seem to be needed anyway.

I have to say this product is worth every bit of money you are going to spend on it. Very easy install...30 minutes to read the instructions bolt the two halfs together and install on the bumper bracket for your truck. I put mine on before I installed a B&W turnover hitch in the bed of my truck, wow, what a life saver. Up and down, In and out of the truck all day... My wife is short and has problems getting into the bed of the truck. Not now, flip it down and step up on the tailgate and into the bed. Good construction, simple hardware, and well designed. A+

I do wish there was a bit of metal under the main part of the step. the metal is only really under one side and the rest of the plastic step is just there. but, i try to keep that in mind and place my foot where the metal is if that makes sense. instalation was very easy and so far so good. i love it!

Easy to install with the instructions provided. Works well, very sturdy and does not rattle when Folded up and not in use.

Installed on 2018 Ram 2500 Tradesman. Fit was perfect. Installation took about 20 minutes. Step is sturdy and stays up out of the way while driving. Makes getting into the bed a lot easier for old legs.

While expensive, it is worth the cost to me. I recently switched from a RAM 1500 to a 2500. The added height of the bed made getting in and out as well as just leaning over to move things around very difficult. The BedStep was easy to install and works as advertised. Very sturdy when deployed and the vertical position when down is a near perfect height for me. Pops up to storage position very easily. Very satisfied with the product.

This step is awesome. I have a 2015 Dodge dually with a 4 lift and 37 tall tires, so this was a must have. Even though Im disabled, I can still get in and out of the bed with zero problems. I have the Amp electric running boards as well, and love them both. This has worked so well that Im going to purchase the bed steps next. They are expensive but, IMHO they are priceless. Do yourself a favor and take 5 minutes and install this step. You wont regret it.

Amp research really killed this it with this step. The step is very simple to install. Removing one of the bumper brackets and placing the AMP bracket in its places made it better than stock, with an added step. Overall best step on the market for taller trucks.

Well made product. Easy installation with decent install directions. Fit perfectly on my 2016 RAM 3500HD w/6.4L Hemi, Crew Cab with 6.5 bed. This is a must have for these big trucks. Im so happy with it that I just purchased AMPs bedstep for the side as well. Plan on installing that on the drivers side for ease of 5th wheel hitch access.

I installed the step on my Ram 2500. Even at 6ft 2 in its difficult to get into the truck bed. This step is the answer, one of my favorite truck mods. Its right there when I need it and its always where I left it.
