> 3 dayI have been a fan of APC products for years using the surge strip and APC battery backup units. I lost a surge strip and only one of three devices from a hit my older non-APC took.

> 3 dayFortunately I pugged a lamp into the outlet strip, because after 14 months the bulb started flickering, changed bulb, and bulb still flickered, I listened closely to the outlet strip and heard it making a slight crackling sound and it also had a faint electric odor. The bulb informed me the unit was delivering bad electric to my sensitive equipment. Now I am worried about the other 3 I bought, keep or trash them too?

> 3 dayAfter blowing out our newer big screen TV due to a power surge, we installed this one so that our NEW TV wont meet with the same demise.

> 3 dayIve been using APC for most of my eletrical needs (ups, pdu, surge protectors). Unit is made of plastic but appears to be pretty durable. It has plenty of room for me to connect my laptop, monitor and other thingamigs at my desk. The built in usb ports are also handy for charging tablets and phones they provide plenty of power to handle charging a iPad 5th gen without any problems.

> 3 dayThis product performed the work as expected. It is reliable and the indicating lights provide insurance that the strip is on. Great value!

> 3 dayGreat product! APC is known for high quality products and this surge protector is no exception. I love that it has the low profile plug that sits flat in the outlet, wish that the cord came out and down from the plug instead of at an angle to the right. The spacing between plugs on the surge protector is perfect and allows multiple bigger ac adapters to be plugged in next to smaller plugs. Overall a great product that’s worth the money.

> 3 dayI have a kitchen area that hosts all my appliances; a mixer, a high end coffee grinder, microwave, toaster oven. Total its about 1k of appliances, and the power strip it was plugged in was so old you couldnt tell if its yellow because the plastic was originally ivory colored or because it was 20 years old. I work in IT and I dont skimp on power surge protectors; 15% of surges sneak right past your house level surge protection, and can kick in not only due to lightning strikes but minor changes in current, like nearby electricity use, appliances that kick on and off, etc. All you know is 3 years later your toaster stops working. Most of these cheap surge protectors on the market are glorified extension cables. I trust the brand, they havent let me down so far.

> 3 dayThese are just about perfect! I like the flat plugs and the cable length. However, the green status lights are just too bright for my bedroom. I have these on each side of my bed to charge my phone and my laptop. I had to position the surge protectors so that half of them are under my bed because the status lights are just too bright!
