> 3 dayThe best thing about this surge protector is the plug in just takes up one spot on the outlet. The protector itself has done nicely spaced connections but would be difficult to use them all and probably not wise to do so. Flat thus does not take up much room. Appears well made and a good value. Likely will buy again.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace an old 6-outlet surge protector and am very happy with the purchase.

Greater than one weekIve always bought surge suppressors and the like from APC. Theyre very reliable and well-made. The equipment protection guarantees are great, too. This strip is not as sturdy as some other APC strips, but it is also less expensive. Perfect for basic home use (a TV, Xbox, etc). Id get a higher up APC model if youre protecting a workstation computer or high end audio gear. But for basic stuff, this strip is a good value. Id trust this far more than a lesser known brand.

> 3 dayI like that it is nice looking, works as it is supposed to, and has enough outlets for me to plug in appliances without having to unplug others.

> 3 dayI have a kitchen area that hosts all my appliances; a mixer, a high end coffee grinder, microwave, toaster oven. Total its about 1k of appliances, and the power strip it was plugged in was so old you couldnt tell if its yellow because the plastic was originally ivory colored or because it was 20 years old. I work in IT and I dont skimp on power surge protectors; 15% of surges sneak right past your house level surge protection, and can kick in not only due to lightning strikes but minor changes in current, like nearby electricity use, appliances that kick on and off, etc. All you know is 3 years later your toaster stops working. Most of these cheap surge protectors on the market are glorified extension cables. I trust the brand, they havent let me down so far.

> 3 dayGets a little bright, but its a solid surge protector with plenty of outlets (8) for TV, consoles, sound system, etc. Plenty of protection with 2000+ joules.

> 3 dayReasonable number of outlets in a compact form factor, with USB charger ports too. Nice thin form factor too. Only down-side is that the LEDs are *bright*. You could use them as a night light in a bedroom, or cover them with electrical tape to black them out. In my home office its not an issue, but something to know about in a dorm room, etc.

> 3 dayWe have always used APC surge protectors with all our computers and refrigerators. We also use them with our Christmas tree lights so all we have to do is touch the button with a top tap to turn on or off. As you get older you will appreciate that :)
