The design of this surge protector is top notch. Very easy to connect anything, and the flat plug is does not stick out far from the wall. The light is green which is more pleasant than red or blue, but I still covered it up with black tape. No need to have a room glowing at night. Overal, a great product.

I only buy surge protectors that have EMI/RFI noise filtering. I have a sensitive short wave radio with a sleep timer that I use when going to sleep. It has a rechargeable battery so you can either use it plugged in or on battery power. Ive always had static on the radio when it was plugged into this surge protector. Cords generally do cause interference in radios so I thought nothing of it. But it started to get really bad. So I took one of my old tripplite surge protectors with emi/rfi noise filtering and plugged the radio into that. No static or interference on the radio at all. I went to APCs website to see if this model has EMI/RFI and it looks like it does....but it sure doesnt work well on mine. I dont want to disparage APC. I have several of their surge protectors. Just bought the big P12U2 model they have and love that one. I think it just has better circuitry than this budget model. Im using the P12U2 on my TCL 55 TV that was flickering and was glitchy turning on and off with a different surge protector from another company. Anyways, the ACP P12U2 works great and appears to have excellent noise filtering. Just wish the P12U2 had a flat plug because I bought it to use for my computer, but couldnt because I couldnt push my desk up against the wall with that straight out plug. Anyways, Ive strayed. This is a good basic surge protector I suppose. Would not recommend it for sensitive electronics prone to interference. Then again, maybe I just had a bad one, who knows. APC is a great brand. All my surge protectors are either APC or TrippLite. Cant go wrong either way.

Been using this item in my home office for only a week but I have lots of experience with APC products and, so far, I expect this surge protector to follow suit. It feels well-built and I had no trouble at all plugging all my home office menagerie into it. The flat wall plug is also a great feature and allows my desk to fit snugly against the wall. Go with APC and rest easy. You can trust their products!

These are simple and seem well made. The spacing can still be a problem with transformers and various plug orientations. Nobody has ever solved that problem. My only criticism is that the power switch flips off too easily with barest touch or brush of a hand. I have several times inadvertently turned off the power while repositioning this strip

These power cords are slim enough to hide under my dual power recliner love seats. The angle plug works great, helping to keep the cord out of the way. I did not receive a registration card for the $150k protection plan however so not sure how that will workout if needed hopefully never

Ive been using APC for most of my eletrical needs (ups, pdu, surge protectors). Unit is made of plastic but appears to be pretty durable. It has plenty of room for me to connect my laptop, monitor and other thingamigs at my desk. The built in usb ports are also handy for charging tablets and phones they provide plenty of power to handle charging a iPad 5th gen without any problems.

We had a huge power surge, and all the equipment was protected.

Reasonable number of outlets in a compact form factor, with USB charger ports too. Nice thin form factor too. Only down-side is that the LEDs are *bright*. You could use them as a night light in a bedroom, or cover them with electrical tape to black them out. In my home office its not an issue, but something to know about in a dorm room, etc.

Bought this for security and peace offend for charging electronics and running a shop vac off of a generator that we use at our cabin. Works great - no issues. IMO, an excellent value
