Apple MacBook Pro (13-Inch, 8GB RAM, 256GB Storage) - Space Gray (Previous Model)

The build quality is excellent. Love the new macbook pro especially the sound and the screen.

Bought one of the 13 inch 256 GB MacBook Pros from Best Buy and the next day when I was setting it all up, it shut down around 78% battery. Reset the SMC and it still happened after that. Exchanged it for another new one the next day and the same thing happened. Spent 1.5 hours on the phone with Apple and al they could think of was resetting the SMC so we did that and then it shut off again while they were on the phone. So, back to Best Buy I went. At that point I just decided to return it because I don’t trust the MacBook Pro anymore. Nobody at Best Buy or the Apple representative admitted that they’ve had this issue with anyone else, but I don’t believe them because another reviewer on here had the same issue two times in a row and so did a lot of others on different forums. I’ve been an Apple girl for the last 10 years and have never had this kind of issue, but two in a row seems like it’s a rampant issue. Now I don’t know what to do. Maybe I’ll try the MacBook Air. *sigh* It’s such a pretty computer and I love the touchbar though.

I observed increase $100

I really really wanted to love this laptop. Years of using MacBooks, and I’m finally asking myself why!? Don’t get me wrong, the laptop is quick, the software is everything you would expect, but between two sticking keys and it’s constant temperature hovering at an uncomfortable 120F, not while under load, or in an extreme environment. Watching YouTube TV, updating Excel sheets, in my 74F living room, not exactly taxing this quad core i5. This purchase has left me very disappointed, and I can’t justify upgrading from my 2014 MacPro.

My macbook came factory sealed and no damage externally or internally. Thankfully everything booted up without a hitch, as this was a christmas gift. The product is legit, Non-refurbished, and new in box.

Whats to dislike? This is the crème de la crème in laptops. Its overpriced, like a BMW. But its great in all aspects.

Wow! $1,700.00 for a device that lasted one year! Unbelievable! Im waiting to find out whats wrong with it. Depending on how much it will cost to repair, I might decide its not worth the additional outlay. My 15 is still going after ten years, but Im done with laptops.

Got mine brand new and I love it. Only wish that there were USB ports, but I love the actual laptop. The Touch Bar is pretty cool too!
