These are great. Only reason i gave 4 stars for ease of cleaning and sturdiness is because all brands suck to clean and 7 inch diameter is never going to be 100% sturdy. Hardly ever need to clean my sump using these. 400 gal full of large haps and peacocks still flowing strong week 2.

the openings do not set flat in the sump opening and since they dont fit and sit flat, a large volume of water slides under the filter sock instead of over the lip and into the sock to be filtered. Waste of money to buy universal socks and had to spend more to buy the ones made for my Eshopp sump instead.
