Aquatic Experts 7-Inch Ring 200-Micron Felt Filter Socks (7 x 12, 2 Pack)

I gave them 3 stars instead of 1 because they seem like they would work and are decent quality. However, I will be returning theses because my icecap sump requires 7 inch socks, not 7-1/4 which is what these measure(maybe 7-1/8, it’s hard to tell because they are out of round but they are definitely larger than 7 and will not fit). My icecap socks measure 7 inches and I could get more of them , but they only come in 100 micron and clog very quickly, so I like 200 micron so I don’t have to change them every single day. These are not the option for me, or anyone whose sock holder is exactly 7 inch.

Tight fit for my waterbox sump

Been using these socks now for over six months and they seem to do a great job of capturing debris from my 365 gallon salt water reef tank. I’m very curious to see how long they will be usable but right now very happy!
