> 3 dayMy Core i7-6850 with a huge Noctua air cooler gets very hot (approaching 100 degrees Celsius). I bought this Arctic MX-4 paste with the hope of reducing those temperatures. It still gets over 90 degrees Celsius under load, and still is almost 50 degrees Celsius at idle. Thermal paste is important, but maybe the standard stuff that comes with a CPU fan is almost as effective as this specialty paste.
