> 3 dayI wanted to update my processor to a i7 4790 from an i3, and from the reviews, this processor really heated up for them even with a decent fan. I dont have a great amount of money to spend, so I wanted to get a good thermal paste and save up for a cooler later on. Installed the processor and have been using it for about 4 days with no issues AT ALL! Pc idle stays from 20c to 27c, and while in use it only goes to a max of 35c, which is great imo considering I have a bad and little fan! I dont know much about computers at all so take my review as a grain of salt, but I think the results are great by keeping my new processor at bay and cool.

Greater than one weekI am new to building, but I have no complaints with it, I also have nothing to judge it on. It was some what ready to spread it. We just traded the r5 2600 for the 2600X. I know it wasnt worth it. But thats what we were testing. The temp on replacement is roughly the same after adding a Evo 212 Black Edition. So I went from a 65W TDP to a 95W TDP. Ill have to try another brand on my next project.
