> 24 hourI really REALLY wanted these to be bad.....Im a bit of a Russo-phobe and prefer buying US or anything else than Russian made. That being said, these razors are excellent and a very good value. While not as superbly sharp as Feather they are on par with Personna and give me a good close shave. I am a triple pass shaver with a heavy beard. These blades last me 5-6 days before needing to be biffed.

> 24 hourExcellent shave. Better than the Van Der Hagen blades that came with my safety razor. It seems like I get less nicks and cuts with these blades than before. Also....I am able to apply very little (almost none) pressure with these blades and they do amazing work. Be mindful of razor angle. Listen for the sound of the razor working (it definatly makes a different sound when it’s cutting). Check the razor for hair remnants periodically to make sure your actually shaving the hairs off at the right angle. Excellent blades at an even better price.

> 24 hourI used to use shark blades and thought I had a good shave... until I tried these. Literally so sharp the hair just kind of gently comes off your face, theres no pulling involved. Excellent product. Ill probably try some other brands anyway now that I see what a difference there can be, but these are fantastic.

> 24 hourThe razor blades are not very sharp. Leaves stubs behind and hard to get a close shave.

> 24 hourMy favorite, all-around, go-to DE blades. Astra greens give consistently good shaves in razors ranging from an ultra aggressive Mühle R41 to an ultra mild Oristo.

> 24 hourIve used many different blades in years of DE shaving. I found Astra SP blades a couple years ago, but kept trying other blades until getting so mired in blades, I stopped wet shaving. I missed DE shaving that I gave some thought to my best and most enjoyable shaves: Gillette Tech with Astra SP blades. I ordered 100 blades, loaded the Tech, and for the past several weeks of daily shaves, Ive had no cuts, no razor burn, and no ingrown stubble; but I have had the three to four weeks of the best shaves. The blades shave close, but without the irritation of Feather, Med Preps, Super Iridium, Gillette Silver Blues, just to name a few of the blades that wrecked havoc with my skin. Astra SPs, a Gillette Tech, Arko shave stick, and a good boar or badger brush have delivered consistently smooth and close shaves. I have 300+ Astras on file, and will likely order a couple hundred more--its the only blade Ill use. Ive given some five-blade tucks to fellow wet shavers who have become Astra SP users. I prefer the SP to Astra Platinum: The SP is much more comfortable against ones skin, it doesnt scrape, but it does cleave 24-hour stubble with ease. I prefer a close shaving mild razor, but I also want a DFS when Im done; and the Tech with Astra SPs deliver. I use one blade for three exceptional shaves. This blade will go five-plus shaves; but I just begin to feel the blade degrading when Ive tried a 4th shave. However, the blade will deliver five to six shaves, albeit with some degradation. Shaves two and three may be even better than shave one with a fresh blade. The blades have a little was on them. I dip a fresh blade in a wide-mouth container of alcohol and using my thumb and index fiber on either side of the blade, wipe the wax off before loading. Alcohol softens the wax, making it easy to wipe off before loading, if youre so inclined. Heres my a.m. lineup: 1973 Tech, Astra SP, Semogue1438 (boar) Brush, Arko shave soap, and my post-shave splash is Thayers Cucumber with Aloe witch hazel. The result is an inexpensive but exceptionally fine shave. Blades, soap, and witch hazel cost me about $40 a year. Ive had many expensive razors, including Merkurs Progress, Slant, 34HD, 34C, 1904, 180 Long Handle, and Futur, and a Feather AS -D1; but nothing is comparable to the setup Ive been using. Techs are inexpensive, but efficient and comfortable, even on sensitive skin and wire-like stubble. Astra SP blades are a value; and Id use them at twice the price.

> 24 hourI love these razors! I get a great shave and they last about 5 shaves before I need to switch out the blades.

> 24 hourThis is my first blade purchase ever, so I dont have experience with any other brand to compare them to, so the only thing that I can say about them is that they do cut, and cut right. They come in packs of 5, individually wrapped. To me, they are fine blades, I am happy with them as they have a great price. Unless somebody gives me a blade from another brand that turns out to be better, I really would have no need to switch brands. I would recommend them. They were a good buy.

> 24 hourAfter trying a few different blades, these worked great for me. This brand was a softer metal, so I didn’t get nicks with new blades. But its strength holds an edge so sharp, I go nearly two months on one blade (shaving six times per week). At that rate, this pack will last me 16 years. Can’t beat that price! Tip: don’t buy bulk until you’ve tried a few different brands. Everyone’s skin and beard are different, so experiment.

> 24 hourWell worth the price, I change blades every 7-10 days so a box of 100 lasts me a whole year.
