Greater than one weekGreat Blades for the price. At the price point you can purchase them at, you wont find a cheaper blade. You will have bought around a years worth of shaves for less than $10.00

> 3 dayI am fairly new to DE shaving, but I am experienced enough with straight edge blades to line up my beard/hair pretty much just as good as my barber. I started out with a kit that came with Derby blades, which I hated. Too much irritation and not enough shaving of hairs. I read a few reviews and decided on these Astras. They were only slightly better than the Derbys but still not sharp enough. I will say that I had very few nicks though. So I went ahead and bought the very popular Feather blades and they are much sharper and that makes for an easier shave. Yes they are a little more expensive, but for me its much cheaper than cartridge razors, especially since I dont shave every day.

> 3 dayLove these astra blades. After many years of using the disposable razors as so many of us have done, I went back last month to shaving the way my father taught me. Purchased a Viking safety razor and shave cream along with a badger brush. Got so tired of spending foolish money on the disposable razors. These Astra blades had a wonderful review and I can only go along with what many, many others are saying. These blades are simply FANTASTIC!!!!!! Some of the reviews did say that the Feather blades are sharper...which is why I didnt purchase them. I didnt want my entry back into safety razor shaving to take my skin off. The Astra blade are smooth as silk and leave my face feeling phenomenal. Just remember to NOT apply a lot of pressure like with your disposable razors. The weight of the razor and the sharpness of these blades are all you need. The cut true and effortlessly as they glide along the contours of my face. I highly recommend these Astra blades. One box for $10 will last 2-3 years. Easily last a week and still sharp as can be. Serious shaving and serious money-saving. What more could you want.

> 3 day11/28/2019 UDATE: Still one of the best blades I’ve ever used! The quality is still great and the price is still low. If you need a very mild blade that can still give you a BBS shave every time Astra is still one of the best three blades that fit that definition! The least razor burn, no knicks or cuts as long as I pay attention to my skills! If you want close, smooth and mild, yes you can have it with Astra!! 12/2016 UPDATE: Still using these as my primary blade. After a couple of 100 blade boxes every blade is consistently good and the same. Sharp yet forgiving and smooth/no irritation! These are made by Gillette in their St. Petersburg factory on original Gillette equipment. If you love the old Spoiler Gillette blades or the current Merkur Platinum blades youll love these; like the same thing! Smooth, no drag or pull. As long as I dont push or rush no razor burn. Been using these blades for five years now and love them! Give them a try!

> 3 dayBest razor blades Ive used. Very sharp, very smooth. I was unhappy with my dollar store blades, and I use bought a new razor and was still disappointed with the shave I got from it with the blades it came with (from a somewhat reputable company, too) and after about 2-3 shaves I decided to swap out one of those old blades with one of these, and on the first pass I got probably an extra millimeter and a half of hair off of my face. Doesnt seem like much but it made the difference between uneven stubble and a nice clean shaven face. Im hooked on these.

Greater than one weekIve tried multiple blades before(black pack feather blades, blue bird, bic chrome platinum) and I prefer Astra over the rest. Astra is sharp enough to get a close shave where I dont get a razor burn. I get two shaves per blade and dont feel bad about throwing the blades away either. This is a very economical deal for your shaving habits.

> 3 dayI have shaved with many different razors, including Feather, Van Der Hagen, and Persona. I love Feather, but find I get a lot of nicks. Astra is nearly as sharp as Feather and gives me a great shave without the nicks. So Astra is my daily blade now, and I only use Feather when I need an exceptionally close shave. I should note that I dont use the Astra blades for more than two shaves. But they are inexpensive, so I dont mind using fresh blades often.

> 3 dayI though these blades were ok due to their average sharpness and limited longevity. These blades are sharper than Derbys and milder than Feathers, placing them mid-range for aggressiveness. Each blade lasted no more than three shaves before needing replacement. With my heavy beard and sensitive skin, I got far superior results with Feather razors

> 3 dayUpdate******** The ones purchased here on Amazon are not quality Astra blades. Could be counterfeit. They are individually package in white paper. Real ones are packaged in Astra print paper. Quality of shave is also not the same. I bought some here on Amazon and another 100 blades from another supplier and found the paper discrepancy and the quality of shave is not there. All packaging was identical for the exception of the individually wrapped blades paper and most importantly blade quality is different. Ill keep buying Astra blades but definitely not from here. Before you buy from anyone ask if it has the Astra print paper. If the answer is yes, then you have the real deal. Dont throw away your money to save 1 or 2 dollars. The below review is on authentic blades. Best razor for my skin. Leaves me no razor burn and cuts through my facial hair like butter. Ive tried others like feather, merkur, shark and derby and this one is the best for me. Barely any nicks and no burn for my skin type. I tried this brand on a sampler and by far the best from the sampler package.
