Astra Superior Platinum Double Edge Shaving Razor Blades 100 Pcs Barber Favored by Astra

Astra have a great reputation for making quality blades and these are no different. I have been using these blades for about 3 years, mostly for shaving my face, and I have found nothing better. They are sharp and well made. Check who you are buying from on Amazon to make sure you don’t get counterfeits. I ordered from Super Safety Razors and can verify that they are authentic Astra blades. Overall great blades and you will save a lot of money rather than buying disposable razors.

I have a tough beard, I get ingrown hairs like most people grow regular facial hair when I use a cartridge razor. I have to shave my face no less than 3 times with these blades to get a great clean shave but Im not complaining because I love the way my face feels afterwards. Ill definitely try the feather blades next but only a small pack because theyre way more expensive and I dont know how bad they will cut my face since my beard is so tough it might be better at shaving straight through it or it might struggle and cut me a lot. I bought 100 of these and I really feel like that was good value. I want to punch myself in the face thinking about all of the money I spent on Gillette and Schick razor cartridges that never gave me the perfect kind of shave that my Merkur and Astra blades give me.

When looking for these I came across two almost identical items, but separate listings. Astra didnt change their blades, many people have accidentally bought that imitation brand instead without realizing.

My wife spends 5x’s what these cost. She isn’t the bearded lady, yet. Get a good handle and you’re set. Clean shave, holds an edge.

By far one the best blades to use. I was so use to using Dorco blades that when I shaved with these, I thought I might have been holding the handle at the wrong angle. Come to find out it was cutting and wasnt have that drag/scrap/resistance feeling like I was use to. Not an extreme feeling, just something I notice. With these blades, it was smooth and got the job done. I did test out using the King C Gillette handle, Mercur MK34C, Chisel shave handle, and MIcrotouch handle. No issue so far, but the MIcrotouch(As seen on TV) would probably only use if I wanted a quick shave, but light cut. Cream I used was Creamo redtop cream. Very impressed with these blades and having a 100 of them. Should last me many many many years. Also depends on how often one shaves too. Might be different for the rest of you. For the record, this comes with 20 boxes. 5 counts per, so 100 blades, not a 100 boxes.

Not good, unless you enjoy pain and bleeding. Would rather shave with a rusty spoon. In the garbage they go.
