Not a lot to say. Its a dvd burner that works as its supposed to. Some people have complained that its noisy but at least mine is very quiet. They all make noise when they spin up for reading and writing. No noisier than any other burner I have used.

Quality was not as good as I expected from a product labelled with “Asus”, but then you get what you pay for. It works flawlessly and was easy to install.

I bought this as a replacement for the drive in my neighbors computer. That drive had somehow exploded a disk into hundreds of small fragments that damaged the heads, jammed the drawer, and stalled the spindle so that the motor failed. It couldnt get much deader. This was at a good price on an excellent brand, arrived on time, installed easily, and is running fine for him. Id buy again if I needed another. I have a little over $600 in Asus products in my personally assembled computer. Whatever they build is quality.

Great value. Be warned though, this sucker is loud. If you want quiet this is not for you.

Good drive for the price. Doesnt come with a sata cable since its OEM bulk. A little noisier than the 10 year old Samsung drive it replaced.

Fast delivery. Excellent price. Its hard to evaluate this product as it simply works as expected of a CD/DVD RW drive. I have purchased ASUS products previously and have found them to be reliable and of good quality. Would recommend or buy again.

Standard OEM item. Was properly packaged, their is no additional software (writer,utilities, etc.) but that is to be expected. I did find it curious that there were no screws but I just reused what was there. Seemed odd though.

This drive goes about its business quietly and without any grief. Its the 3rd or 4th Asus CD/DVD drive Ive had and all have been quiet and worked well. Also, unlike a few others Ive had, all of them are still working. One is one of the first SATA CD drives on the market. Ive had a couple of Plextor drives and while theyve been great, one did eventually fail and they are expensive.
