I was a bit hesitant to buy this computer because it seemed to be too good to be true.

Run very hot, a cooling pad is mandatory

Works great! I am very happy with its performance so far. Finally being able to play God of War and Cyberpunk on high or even ultra is nice.

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 far exceeded my expectations, delivering the best performance and features I have ever seen in a laptop. The specs are simply tops with a Core i9-13980HX powering this beast of a machine that is trimmed out with 16GB of DDR5 RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, and incredibly, an NVidia GeForce RTX 4070 video card that alone is unbelievable in a laptop.

Update FEB 2023

I did a LOT of research for a new gaming rig. Normally, I build Desktops. but decided to look and se what Laptops had to offer. Now, I am no E-Sports gamer or anything, but I love for my games to run smoothly. I connect this thing to my Samsung Odessey G9 (5120x1440 native) and crank everything to max and go... Games run smooth, the fans arent too loud and I would highly suggest a cooling pad to get just a bit more out of this thing.
