Aurifil A1050-2024 Mako Cotton Thread Solid 50WT 1422Yds White

Great product, great value.

Aurifil cotton thread is great for machine sewing. The thread is break- and tangle-resistant. And it doesnt clog your machine with fiber lint like cheaper threads do. (Translation: You dont have to clean your machine as often with Aurifil.) These bigger Aurifil spools will fill four or five bobbins plus have enough thread left to sew the top stitches for those bobbins.

Love it, just think its too expensive. But, will still buy it! Really works great for FMQ!

I converted to Aurifil thread a few years ago. It is a very low lint thread, which is great for my sewing machine and yes I can really see the difference when I clean my machine. The 50 wt is very fine but strong. I like the wide range of colors available. I havent priced it per yard vs threads sold in retails stores but given this is a large spool, it seems fairly priced for a quality product. I use their other weight threads as well. Guess Im an Aurifl fan.

I bought this thread on the recommendation of a quilting class teacher and look forward to completing many projects with excellent results.

This thread is used for piecing quilts. Ive never been disappointed. It is a low-lint product which is good for the sewing machine. Return customer for sure.

This does not seem to be true Aurifil. Bunches and nests every time I use it on my machine.
