USBメモリの形をした外付SSDですね。 250GBと500GB、両方とも入手してみました。 パッケージに記載の転送速度は500GBの方がwriteが速いようですね。 「USB 3.2 Gen2」に対応、最大読出速度600MB/s、最大書込速度500MB/sの高速転送を実現とのことで、当然ですが、接続する機器側も対応している必要があります。残念ながら当方はUSB3.0なので最速を体験することは出来ませんが、CrystalDiskMarkで実測してみたところ以下の数値となりました。 -- ■USB3.0での計測です。(500GB) [Read] SEQ 1MiB (Q= 8, T= 1): 456.696 MB/s SEQ 1MiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 356.275 MB/s RND 4KiB (Q= 32, T= 1): 124.040 MB/s RND 4KiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 22.217 MB/s [Write] SEQ 1MiB (Q= 8, T= 1): 453.106 MB/s SEQ 1MiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 414.563 MB/s RND 4KiB (Q= 32, T= 1): 131.200 MB/s RND 4KiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 32.785 MB/s -- 商品説明に「USB 3.0搭載のPCには読み取り400MB/s、書き込み250MB/sに制限され」と書かれてますが、それを上回る速度が出てますね。かなり速いと思います。 ボディはプラスチックのようですね。軽いです。落とすと割れるんじゃないかと少し心配になります。 耐熱に関しては、まだ長時間使用してないので何ともですが、CrystalDiskMarkで測定しただけで少し暖かくなる感じでした。耐久性に関してはまだこれからとなりますが、大容量なのにコンパクト、爆速で使い易いとなれば魅力満載ですね。コスパ考えると500GBの方がお得感はありますね。

USBメモリ型のSSDです。 SSDながら、言うまでもなく非常にコンパクト&超軽量。発熱もほとんど感じられず、速度も爆速と言うこと無し。 あとは耐久性さえ問題が無ければ、モノとしては最高です。 250GBモデルですが、Windows11のシステムでは232GBと認識されました。 CrystalDiskMarkでは233GBとなっています。 参考値ですが、測定の結果、USB3.0ではReadが395.59MB/s、Writeが308.10MB/s。 USB3.1ではReadが412.64MB/s、Writeが322.18MB/sとなりました。 ※ただしGenは不明。 最大読出速度600MB/s、最大書込速度260MB/s(USB3.2 Gen2の場合)と謳われているので、それと比べるとReadは70%ほどでしたが、Writeはなんと120%超えという結果です。(Readも十分な数値だと認識) 価格面を見てみると、有名メーカー製のUSBメモリ型SSDの250GBモデルが4,500-8,000円程度で販売されており、5,000円前後というのは、あまり優位性が無いように思います。 ただ、性能面では同価格帯の製品を上回っているように見えるので、その点では優位性があります。 手持ちのバッファロー製と比べても非常にコンパクトなので、サイズの面でも極めて優秀。 まだ耐久性については分かりませんが、少なくとも今のところは、強くオススメできるアイテムです。

●AXE MEMORY アクス 500GB 外付SSD (USBメモリ)の感想について ・本製品はＵＳＢメモリと同様なサイズで大容量のＳＳＤです。コンパクトで持ち運びに便利です。 ・本製品の表記上の容量は５００ギガバイトで、使用開始時の空き容量は、４６５ギガバイトと表示されます。 ・本製品は、エクスプローラー上では、「AXE DRIVE」という装置名称で表示されています。 ・Ｃドライブにはウインドウズ本体が格納されており、これに加えて、ユーザーデータをＣドライブに大量に格納すると、Ｃドライブの空き容量が少なくなり、様々な問題を引き起こす原因となります。 ・本製品内に、デジカメの画像データや、ラジオを録音した音声データなどを保管してみましたが、快適に使用できています。 ・Ｃドライブがユーザーデータ追加で巨大化すると、システムイメージのバックアップが長時間かかる様になる為、ユーザーデータは極力、本製品の様なＳＳＤなど、Ｃドライブとは別のドライブに保管するのが良いと思います。

This thumb drive actually has a decent transfer speed for a USB 3.2. Most thumb drives have the right capacity but this one has faster speeds for a USB 3.2. Please be aware that you do need the correct port to utilize the full transfer speed. This is a great thumb drive to have for if you need a quick transfer of larger files or a back up for pictures and videos. Although 250 gb is a bit unorthodox compared to many other flash drives, pictures and videos probably could easily fill up 250 GB. I would say this is pretty nice to have some more important files stored safely on a thumb drive as back up if needed. The first thing I will say is that this thumb drive is a little thicker than your average thumb drive but it is still decent size for 250 gb. It is thin enough where it will not take up too much space. It does have a small loop I would say you could be a string through so you can put this on your keys or on a lanyard. This one is easier to put a string through because it is not one of those really small tight loops. In terms of scratching, this does not scratch as easy as say metal case thumb drives. The cap stays on pretty well however when you do not have any place to put the cap if you have the thumb drive open. You cannot put it on the back end like some thumb drives. I did do a test and verified that this thumb drive indeed has 250 gigabyte capacity and the transfer speed is pretty fast even on a USB 3.0. Again all varies as well on the port you plug into as well (if you are using 2.0 or 3.0. You have plenty of space to work with and transferring should not take too long, but you may be able to fill up 250 gb pretty quickly depending on the file sizes. For your average user, it will most likely take some time to fill up all the way unless you take a ton of pictures every day. Overall this is a nice thumb drive to have for storing pictures and videos but be aware with the sizes of videos and pictures you may actually fill this up pretty fast. Compared to other usb thumb drives, it has a super fast transfer speed. The only minor down side is that this thumb drive is a little thicker compared to many other thumb drives, but it makes up for it by have a decent transfer speed.

Size/Form The drive is a nice SMALL size and has a well constructed light weight plastic. There is a small loop for a lanyard. The protective cap clicks on well and securely. FAST! This thing is fast! I max out my PC on reads (~450MB/s -- the fastest I can measure on my PC) It may very well do 600MB/s - I just cant observe that on my PC-- I think my USB3 isnt quite v.3.2. The shocking thing however is this thing writes very fast --- much faster than advertised. I get about 420 MB/s writes! Durable: I am using this drive daily now and it has held up well. Final thoughts: I dont know of any other drive this small and this fast. I highly recommend it as an high speed EDC (every day carry) USB for its extreme performance and small size

I got this flash drive, needed to transfer 40 GBs of video files, plugged it in, and copied the files over to it at 350 MBps. I didnt do anything in Windows or anything else to get it to work faster. The casing is plastic but it seems durable enough so long as you dont subject it to being in your key pocket day in and day out. Its a pretty standard looking flash drive. The cap snaps (sort of) onto the back side so you are less likely to lose it when youre using the drive. It too is plastic. Theres a lanyard hole on the back side of the drive too but no lanyard connector came with it. But my goodness, this is blazing fast. It really is an SSD crammed into a flash drive size. Im flat out impressed.
