> 3 daySpecialty tools are typically expensive, for the price I was worried. Broke 2 50 roller chains and 2 30 roller chains with ease. The pin didnt break or mushroom like people reviewed. They must not know what they are doing. It does include an extra pin also. Worth the money and will get the job done.

> 3 dayThis can split a chain but will damage the plate. It only grabs on set of plate not the whole chain side to side so itll damage the unsupported plate by bending it out. It does push the whole pin out either. If you want ad a half link this is not the tool for that job

> 3 dayDo not buy this product!!! I repeat do not buy it the quality is trash! I had been waiting on it so I could replace my chain as soon as it came i attempted to remove the chain the product broke into pieces in less than 3 min smh! If youre looking for this kind of tool i suggest you go with the motion pro version being that Ive used that one before and had no issues only reason purchased this one was due to the fact I was trying to save a few bucks but in the end just lost money smh!

Greater than one weekI personally use it for a RK 420MXZ 420x110 Kawasaki Z125 chain and it breaks it like butter. Super nice and very small but not too small where it’s hard to hold or grip!

> 3 dayI am using it to break #35 but the pin doesnt go all the way because it is too thick. I can only push the pin about 3/4 of the way and then I have to just hammer it the rest of the way. Maybe this would work better for smaller chains but I cant recommend it for #35.
