The first time I used this thing it bent the chain links. Then when you do get it to work it won’t even push the pin all the way through. After pulling on the pin for ten minutes it had ruined my chain. NEVER EVER EVER EVVVEER BUY THIS THING. COMPLETE TOTAL WASTE OF Time, Money and a GOOD Karting Chain.

Made the resizing of the chain so much easier .

Used to break a go kart chain. Worked perfectly and was properly aligned when secured to the chain. The die tip was no longer as sharp after using it, but that was as expected and the kit includes an extra die. Not sure I would use this tool in a professional capacity but perfect for a hobbyist.

The pin on my tool was not centered making it impossible to line it up properly on the chain. It came with another pin but the old one was stuck in there and snapped trying to removed it.

Did the job, reason for 4 star is because the tool doesnt press center of the pin but close to the edge. I tried to reposition the chain but made no difference. It did however push the pins out easily so for the price I cant complain but it sure doesnt look right when you are clamping seeing it barely on the pin.

100% junk it works amazingly the 1st time and if you only need it 1 time buy it... but after that its next to useless the needle is soooooo weak it looses around 2mm its 1st use off a 8mm needle making it to short to push the pin out of the chain. 2nd time i used it , it screwed up my 35 chain cause i didnt realize this now than i looked at breaker and seen what did it. Before using it i did see the needle looked dented at the tip now the tip is gone after 2 uses!! And half of a $40 go kart racing chain is screwed up not sure if i can fix it. Very unhappy

I bought this chain breaker probably about 4 years ago and I am a motorcycle mechanic and use it pretty much on the daily on multiple projects and it hasnt failed me yet and still going great value didnt have to pay that much for it but for something for that value to work this long I back at 100% very satisfied with it and still going.

I thought I was going to have to grind the pin down a little, but this thing drove it out well, I cranked it with pretty serious force and it held good.
