Although this is OK and Belkin is generally a good company, it would be much better with a positive power indicator (e.g. a light on the on/off switch) and a longer cord.

Nice thick cord. This is the third one Ive bought. Everytime I need a surge protector I will buy one of these. WIll be buying more

I give this product a 4 star because it does its job well. However, the build quality is not that good. Also to keep in mind there is only 1 main/master switch at the side of the product to turn off/on so you cant independently turn off/on the different plugs. Its okay for the price. My only concern is that the holes where the plug goes in, they dont really fit plugs of all my electrical appliances. I have to push quite hard because something seems to be blocking the plug so it doesnt go all the way into the holes. I would recommend it if price is a constraint otherwise go for a more expensive alternatives but with better build quality and functionality. But it does its job well.

Only ordered these to use for Christmas Lights, etc. They Work!!! There is NO light indicating that they are on or off or protecting the attached equipment. If You can live with that, then get these.

I purchased about 4 or 5 of these for around the house - it was time to replace the old ones. It was a good thing too. We have had a bad summer with plenty of electrical storms and not a single computer lost yet! I still get folks to log off anyway, but if we have to head for the basement as we did earlier this summer - its good to know theres a backup.

The photo of this surge protector does not show its texture very well. I purchased this as a cheap alternative to another surge protector. Once I received it and opened the package I was surprised at how nicely it was designed and built. It feels very sturdy and not cheap at all. It is also rated pretty high for electrical current protection although I have not tested its ability to maintain protection at its advertised rating. I have to say it was much better looking in person than online and I am absolutely pleased with this purchased.

Product seems to be a great value for money..but be sure about the cord length you want..i thought a 4 foot cord would be enough but i now feel that i should have brought a longer one.. it is compact, build quality is good, the on/off switch is at the side rather than on top.. been using it for 6 months..on/off switch is broken....

Good for protecting smaller devices,but dont use it to protect anything expensive like your home theater center etc...
