Belkin 6-Outlet Home and Office Power Strip Surge Protector, 4ft Cord

This is good for just regular plugs. I have better ones around my computer.

I was looking for a 6-outlet surge protector for a cheap price and found it. Ive used this for over a year now and it has held up well. I cant attest to actual surge protection on my devices but I havent had an issue during lightening storms.

Belkin has been a trusted brand in our home for many years now. I actually go out of my way to purchase Belkin because I feel it is one of the better brands. I purchased this surge protector just a few months ago and today it just stopped working for no reason. I am disappointed to say the least. I dont expect items to last forever, but I do expect a surge protector to last more than just a couple months. I know this item has several good reviews, but I would question how long they have owned theirs. Im sorry Belkin, but this one truly disappointed me.

We bought this surge protector to use with our entertainment center in our bedroom. We wanted a surge protector so our 50 inch tv, cable box, apple TV and DVD player could all be plugged in and protected in case of a surge. This surge protector is simple but does exactly what we need it to do and is priced right.

My only complaint is that I really wish the plugs were sideways facing instead of vertically. Other than that, does the job for non essential electronics.
