> 3 dayThere was no attempt to mask that this item had been used, enough to get it dirty all over, with junk stuck in the cracks on the bottom. I decided to just scrub it down and use it anyway, but really, what exactly is going on behind the scenes over there?!

Greater than one weekI bought this last year when I headed out for college, and it has been performing great. It has saved me many times from damaging my TV, last year in the Spring when their where many storms in my area. This is something I recommend to anyone who is looking for a surge protector and it is a great price.

> 3 dayIt was delivered to me so quickly. I used it immediately when I received it. Now it works well. I specially like the design of the power, it is on the end of it.

> 3 dayIf anything happens, Im sure I can update this later. Mostly hoping to prevent small surges, and frankly, Ive read a lot of conflicting info on this topic. Since thats way over my hear for the time being, Im just going to comment on the parts I an qualified to talk about. Its a cheap plastic and very lightweight. Dont expect to beat anyone to death with this. The cord itself seems 2.5 feet, but honestly, Im not about to measure it. I got it to be next to the outlet, and it does that. So perhaps its 2.5 to the very end, but its certainly short. If you think short might be too short, it probably is. But from the outlet to the ground plus some wiggle room youre golden. It does have an on/off switch hidden on the top. No lights or anything to indicate its on, so just plug something in to verify. Oh, and its not a right angle like the 8 foot. I got this one thinking it had a right angle power plug like the pictures . . . nope, its straight. Thankfully it still fit (barely).
