    Ive bought 4-5 of these over the years and they are absolutely everything you could want in a surge protector. Large number of outlets, an 8ft long cord with a flat plug, good surge protection. Ive been using these power strips for several years now and anytime I find myself needing an additional power strip, I just buy one of these without a second thought.

    Im not sure how ones really rates their satisfaction with a power strip...I mean, its not like its super exciting. But... this worked perfect for what I needed. I have 8 laptops and 6 tablets in my classroom, so my two power strips with six outlets each was no longer enough. This power strip fits all of my laptops, with a few outlets to spare! {Im hoping to fill it with a few more laptops in the near future}

    I used this in my dorm and loved it. I still use it to this day actually and it has not got messed up or anything. I love how many things you can plug into it and the quality of it. The cord length was great but if you want a super long cord I would not recommend this. The cord works for normal usage. If this ever breaks (its built so good I dont know if it will anytime soon) I would buy this one again. Must have for any dorm room or to have under a work desk.

    I needed a good surge protector to plug into the wall behind a bed. The surge protector I was using had a big plug and a cord that stuck out and I was concerned about safety with the bed/bedspread being up against that, so I needed a new solution. After searching, I found this surge protector that has a flat, angled plug and a wall-hugging cord. It was just what I needed! It has plenty of outlets. I like the option to hang it on the wall. I would buy it again.

    Overall theyre great, however some of the people that create plugs need to be shot for not respecting typical outlets space - you know exactly what I mean. This will fill your needs of an entertainment system catch-all or any regular 2-prong devices easily, its when you get to the weird shaped, chinese devices that have a 2x2 plug that you might lose a place to plug them in, but the sides of this thing will allow you to plug in 6 average big-block devices on the sides. Ive never had any issue with these and Ive been pluging/unpluging things from them daily for years. Ive got 3 and will order more of these if I ever need one.

    Needed a surge protector that could hold a great surge if needed and this one should do well.

    Greater than one week

    When it comes to surge protectors, you do NOT want a used product. Surge protectors have a lifespan, and a used surge protector has already gone at least partially (if not completely) into its lifespan.

    I use this surge protector for my desktop, my entertainment center, gave one to my brother for his desktop, and gave another to my best friend for his entertainment center. 12 ports is already impressive, but the layout is just as important. The six ports down the middle are perfect for single space plugs, but the spacing on the sides is what makes this thing shine. Every power brick that I have used on these ports does not get in the way of other ports. No matter what, I will always have full and easy access to each outlet. The cable management bar at the bottom is a nice feature to have. This unit is also wall mountable, but I opted for double sided Velcro and mounted it underneath my desk to keep cable clutter off my floor.

    I needed this for a very complex flight simulator; computer, three screens, speakers, and a USB hub for powering iPads etc. What needs the surge protector is on the surge protector side, what doesnt is on the other side. Great on/off switch for turning everything off after powering off the computer itself.

    Love this style surge protector and Belkin is the only company that makes them. Surge protectors all have holes where you can mount them to a wall if you put corresponding screws in said wall. But they rarely fit just right plus its an enormous hassle to crawl under or behind desks to put screws in a wall in just the right place AND what happens when you want to move it? These flat units work very well. Ive had some for years. But i buy 2 sided industrial adhesive velcro strips. I put the velcro together, pull one side of the adhesive and press it to the back of the nice FLAT Belkin surge protector. Then i pull the adhesive off the other side and press the whole unit to the wall. When i want to move it i just pull it from the wall and put new adhesive velcro on and place it where i want.
