06-06-2025We have fish tanks, lots and lots of fish tanks. Which results in tons of surge protectors. This is twice as annoying knowing that half of the outlets will be inaccessible due to bulky plugs. With this surge protector I no longer have that issue. I can safely add every filter, light and air pump within reach of this fella.

> 3 dayInitial impression is that Im highly impressed and love it so far! I loaded it down as well as my picture shows. I especially loved the phone jack protection, which in this instance is my dsl internet connection. I was worried about that as I have Ethernet cables going from my router to my expensive 4K tv and my PS4 Pro. My router is almost double protected as the power adapter is going through the surge protector as well as the data line. I feel very confident that my many devices are protected now. One this one surge protector is a PS2, PS3, PS4 Pro, Xbox360, a laptop, the tv, a sound bar, etc. Its loaded down. With a rating of 1875 watts its definitely enough for my use case. Everything will not be powered on at the same time obviously, but this thing could actually take it if I were to. I live in an older historic home so the wiring I dont fully trust anyway. But the surge protector will tell you if the outlet its plugged into is grounded or not which I find to be a GREAT feature. Now Im an electrician so I know my way around electricity and I fix electronics so know my way around that stuff as well. With everything I know I am still impressed with this surge protector. The one I bought has a $300,000 insurance for devices plugged into it properly should the surge protector fail. That sold me. I feel much more at ease now especially with it being lightning storm season here and me just buying this new PS4. Would recommend 10/10!

09-06-2025You get what you pay for when it comes to surge protectors. Yes, there are more expensive ones out there then this one, but this one is in that perfect equal compromise position. This is a very nice protector that protects almost all of your potential components. Most people do not know that a surge is just as likely to come through a phone or coax line as it is the power line. The extra long cord with the flat plug allows you to plug it in and use it in tight locations. Having 12 outlets is great but the fact that you get 6 standard and 6 outlets for the larger a/c adapters is a major plus. It would be nice to have a couple of USB plugs on this and I am sure the next model will.

Greater than one weekThis is a good power strip by a reputable brand and functions as advertised. My only qualms is that there are 2 pegs that protrude from one end of the strip that I would rather they not have included to take up a bit less space, but it’s not a big issue.

> 3 dayGot this thing on sale for 17 dollars. It really is overkill for what was needed, but I couldnt find anything else with a long enough cord... Anyways, I have five devices that I like to plug in under my bed and charge on my headboard, which has built-in shelving, but there are no outlets near the bed. Add to that three of the five have massive adapters (A tablet, a 3DS, and an old GBA SP) that cover up two and a half outlets while only using one, and I was in a bit of a pickle. I was hoping for a six-outlet surge protector with all the sockets facing different directions, but that just didnt exist. I tried all over the place. When I saw this thing on Amazon, which I had previously seen in stores like Wal-Mart for something like fifty dollars, I snapped up two (one to use for my TV which also had issues. I was constantly plugging in and unplugging game systems and DVD players and such for lack of space) and both seem to be performing perfectly. The insulated cord is as thick as my little finger. If I had one complaint, its that the plug is fixed at an angle that makes it stick up in an odd manner because my bedrooms wall sockets are all upside down for whatever reason. But that is a nitpick. This thing is perfect, and even if it is excessive, youll always have room to plug in more stuff. And you might be lucky enough to get it for the sale price that I did.

> 3 dayIt is a nice set of extra outlets, although all dont work (could not plug a plug in the outlet) and there are no surge protector ports for the internet and so my Imac internet card got fried. I also lost a Desktop Workstation and a laptop. Dont depend on this to save your equipment from surges.

> 3 dayI would prefer the on/off switch was on top. Since the box didn’t show where it was on the box was difficult at first to find it. Others I’ve had was on top of the product being on the end was difficult at first to find it a little awkward when it’s on the floor to shut it off as well would be easier if on top. Otherwise find it’s best to pick it up to shut it off or turn on. Otherwise product seems to be good.
