Bernat Blanket Bright Yarn, Carrot Orange

So I purchased 4 of these in white to get started on a large blanket. The price has doubled from 6 weeks ago! Not sure why?? Also I ordered the school bus yellow and none is available right now. The yarn isnt as smooth as I thought it would be and it twisted while crocheting. Just have to work with it to keep it straight.

I needed more of this color than I was able to purchase at walmart, and was glad to find it here at an equivalent price. Arrived quickly enough and I was able to finish making my cloak. Its not my favorite yarn, but uber soft and nice to work with, and the cloak is warm and comfortable, if a bit heavy. Its definitely a blanket yarn. I just wish that I didnt have to purchase as many balls as I did for a single project. For a blanket yarn, I would expect larger skeins so I dont have to have as many knots.

Good used for a blanket

The color are beautiful. The yarn is long and great for crocheting. I made a nice winter hat with it. It is great for blankets or amigurumis. I wish it was a tad bit softer though

I loved the first ball of yarn which was soft and springy. However the next of four I purchased was thin and flat and tight when knitting with no give at all. Each of the different balls of yarn were different and inconsistent. Two of them varied in color significantly being while shades lighter. This is no reflection on the seller. The yarn arrived on time and well packaged. I think the issue with the inconsistent yarn has more to do with the manufacturer of the product. The only option I could see was to purchase several and to pick the ones that match the best and either return ir save the ones that do not match for future projects.

I used this product to crochet an octopus! It was much thicker than I expected but very soft!

The texture and softness is great! I have used this Bernat Yarn several times before and I highly recommend. However, I ordered 2 balls of the yellow yarn from Amazon and they sent me 2 different shades of yellow. So that means my blanket is 2 different shades of yellow and it doesn’t look right. That’s why I’m giving it 4 stars.

I bought 3 Skeins from a store & needed more found this on amazon & it’s inconsistent and split. it’s much thinner. the color is good though.
