> 3 dayI ordered Lilac Dove and received Blue Dreams. It’s wonderful yarn, but not what I ordered. It appears Amazon had the incorrect tag on it.

> 3 dayI ordered two 2-packs. They arrived separately so I used the first 2-pack to start a blanket. The second 2-pack came and it feels like a lighter weight, less thick, and just lower quality in general. I’m going to finish the blanket with it because I don’t have much choice, but it is disappointing that one section of the blanket is so thick and high quality and the other section is not.

> 3 dayI recently ordered eight 10.5 oz skeins of Sailors Delight at Amazons incredible add-on price. I plan on knitting a throw blanket and a triangle shawl with it, and Im just about finished with the shawl right now. Bernat Blanket yarn is the absolute best for blankets, shawls and throws. It is incredibly soft and does not shed or pill, as does other bulky acrylic yarns. The resulting article made from this yarn is similar to a fleece blanket or pullover. It is very warm. The only negatives that Ive come across with this particular shade (Sailors Delight) is an inconsistency in the density of the yarn and some fading of the variegated colors. My shawl uses two big balls, and the yarn from the first ball had a solid density and good color saturation. When I attached the second ball to my work and completed a couple of long rolls, I noticed that the yarn grew thinner and less dense, and the color saturation was more faded. Perhaps this particular ball was wound at the end of a manufacturing run, who knows. But because it was noticeably different, I unraveled the rows and changed out the ball for another one. Other than this issue, the yarn is perfect. In case anyone is wondering about how much to order for a simple garter knit triangle shawl (37 x 66), Ive completed a previous shawl using four 5.3 oz balls in Harvest and am finishing up my current project using two 10.5 oz balls in Sailors Delight. Hope this helps.

06-06-2025This is a great gift for baby showers. One skein made a proper size baby blanket when knitting with my fingers. The material is super soft and forgiving! Also easy to clean. I would wait on these to go on sale if purchasing from amazon, because they are more pricey than if you were to buy them at a local craft store, such as Joanns, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or even Walmart. I have set up an alert so notify me when these go on sale. My last purchase of these, I got them half off! 3 skeins for $15.00, so $5.00 each. They are usually at least $10.00 a skein. Wait for the sale. Highly recommend any yarn from this brand. Im never disappointed!

> 3 dayThis is my favorite type of yarn with which to crochet. Ive used it for blankets, pillows, and cat toys so far. Honestly, if it didnt cost so much, it would make a great insulating curtain for windows in winter because it holds in heat so well.

> 3 dayLesser quality compared to the ombre. Not as fluffy and dull.
