> 24 hourI am relearning to knit after not doing it for over 20 years. I wanted to make an easy, soft, chunky blanket my family could snuggle under. I used the Bernat Cushy Garter Blanket pattern and size U.S. 19 (15mm) circular knitting needles at 36” long. I made the mistake of buying circular needles that weren’t long enough and had to stop and buy new ones which was frustrating. I doubled the yarn up using two strands at the same time which made this blanket even thicker. I purchased six balls of this and used almost all of it. Of the six balls, one ball had several breaks that were re-tied together which wasn’t a big deal to me but I could see with a more intricate stitch the break and knot would be super visible. The color I used had more cream to it than I anticipated but it still turned out mostly grey which was my goal. Also, due to how thick this yarn was and the fact that I doubled it up my mistakes were easily hidden and nearly unnoticeable unless you really look for them. The blanket is heavy, warm, and SO SOFT so thanks to this yarn. This yarn is perfect for beginners who want to get the hang of it and knit up a blanket rather quickly. I have requests to make a couple more of these blankets for my family and can’t wait to make another blanket with this yarn.

> 24 hourI crocheted a blanket and it is so soft. Now everyone in my family wants one. I finished it in less than a week and bought enough to make 2 more blankets. The yarn is a little tricky to use because its so think, but I got the hang of it quickly. I did a double crochet and used 4 skeins which wasnt quiet enough, so Ill have to buy another one to make it longer. Its very warm and cozy.

> 24 hourNot only is this yarn perfect for blankets but also reusable water balloons! It is exactly what I need and use to crochet them! Holds the water perfectly!

> 24 hourI truly do love this yarn it is all I use! While I have noticed that each ball has a slight variation but this one really is obvious and it makes me so sad! I’m going to order another and try to redo and match up before I move forward. Slightly disappointed with this one.

> 24 hourI made a kingsized blanket out of this yarn and not only is this stuff soft, but it is warm and HEAVY. I was going to get a weighted blanket around the time I started my blanket, but I ended up with a handmade one. Awesome yarn.

> 24 hourThis is Mrs. Jonathan. I have recently finished a quick project with the baby blue color when I found this one. The yarn is like a jumbo crayon. It is large and easy to handle on large (15) needles. The description says Spinrite, but the yarn is actually Bernat Baby Blanket brand, which is what I was looking for anyway. The skeins are shorter in length than ordinary yarn which I guess should be expected, as it is microfiber chenille greatness with much softness. If you are interested in trying a chenille-type yarn, I would vote for this brand variety. I have seen others, but they were made of acrylic. Besides feeling scratchy, they seemed to fall apart in knitting with little bits of fluff falling everywhere, even on the sample left out in front the bins.
