So we bought these hangers to go with the Eastern jungle gym swing set brackets for making our own swing set playhouse. (Also purchased on Amazon) Very heavy duty. Very sturdy. Easy to install. I cannot say much about full durability because we have only had them up and being used everyday for a month. I am a 173lb mama and I have no issues feeling safe and secure when Im singing with the kiddos. We installed onto a 4x6 beam. We have installed all 3 and came back to order more. This is when I have docked 1 star. The original 3 we bought in Dec 2020 did not come with the lag screw bolts. So when we put it together a few weeks ago we had to get our own lags-which was fine we figured they just werent included and we didnt realize they were supposed to be and we thought it was odd but went on with our days. Ordered another set (like straight from my previous orders because we wanted them to match) for more swings and we open the box and this time they did send the lags so I docked a star for inconsistencies. Now we have miss matched lags. Not that many will recognize or care but we know they are all not the same lol.

These things are crazy beefy. The package feels like lifting up a shoe box full of quarters. Unfortunately, I did not get around to building the swing set before the snow started flying, so I cannot say for sure how durable they are, but I dont see how they couldnt be durable. Im pretty sure I could swing my SUV from these things. The carabiners and screws seem good, but frankly the hinges by themselves are worth the price. I plan on making a pretty tall swing for my older daughter. I might use carriage bolts and put them all the way through the beaminstead of the lag bolts , so theres no worry about the wood rotting and the lag bolts popping out, and probably will not use the cararbiners (Ill use them for something else).

Some friends of mine asked me to hang their new patio swing for them. It was needing to be attached to the trusses in their patio cover and I didn’t like the idea of it being held up by a single eye bolt on each side. I figured there could be several people on it and could have grand kids jumping on it so thought I should look for something more stout. I came across this hardware and figured getting 2 lag screws in on each side and having a connection point that is designed to swing would be far superior than eye bolts. I pre drilled, used an impact driver to send the lags home, and gave the pivoting area a spray of WD40. It swung smooth and without sound. Better to over build than to under build. This hardware should last a lifetime.

These feel so heavy duty and were easy to install with all the included hardware. My only (extremely minor) complaint is that they are a different shade of green than the A-frame brackets by the same company. I was hoping they would match for a cohesive look. This obviously does not affect the value of the product though and would very highly recommend!
