> 3 dayI bought the 14.9oz container of the vanilla whey protein after reading the review written by John P. Now that Ive gone through almost half of it, Ill most likely be ordering the largest size available soon. The taste is 10x better than the cheap whey you might buy at a local grocery store, and it mixes well in a blender (I cant say much about the shake containers). If mixed well, the taste isnt overpowering and compliments fruits or other items you might want to mix with the powder. There is a sweet taste, but I would say its semi-sweet compared to pure vanilla extract or maybe white chocolate. Fructose from the fruits you mix in will be more prevalent to the taste. I personally like this recipe: Banana Delight Ingredients: 8 oz pure water 1/2 banana (frozen) 2 oz protein of choice (1/4 cup of this protein) 2 tsp flaxseed oil--This kind:

> 3 dayAfter reading good reviews i decided to buy this. One thing i noticed it the caninster is a little small (7L) but it comes about 80% full. The flavor is super unique and it doesnt leave that unplesany whey aftertaste in your mouth. It satisfies hungrr instantly as well. I used a gnc shaker cup to mix it and it had no issues dissolving. Most sugar free shakes that are this healthy are probably going to be sweetened with a disgusting artificial sweetner, not this one because the 3rd ingredient is coconut oil. How smart to use coconut oil! I use this as for pre/post workout as it contains 20g of protein. Its 99% lactose free (wow) and it has tons of amino acids. The flavor is terrific its just biting into a coconut chew. You can easily blend it with milk in a blender and add fruit and it would taste even better. So glad i made this purchase!

> 3 dayBought 2 of these, then went with a generic brand which gave me indigestion. Im a senior woman with no health problems, but am underweight and tire easily. A smoothie in the morning perks me up and gets me through the day. Needless to say, Im back to Bio-Chem!

> 3 dayInitially I really liked this product but over a few months of using this a few times a week I found it really didn’t agree with me. My husband continues to use it but it’s availability fluctuates and it’s pricey.

> 3 dayI started using Biochem 100 percent Whey Protein while recovering from bone graft surgery. I had read that whey protein can be a good source of lactoferrin and that lactoferrin speeds bone healing, so I have been adding this to a smoothie or shake twice a day. An added benefit I did not expect is that the insomnia I have been struggling with for years has disappeared. Maybe that is related to why a glass of warm milk before bed is an old, old folk remedy for sleeplessness. I cant do the warm milk thing because I am lactose intolerant, but I do seem to be tolerating this brand of whey protein. I chose this particular brand because it is: * from grass fed cows * sugar free (Natural flavor) * mild tasting * non-GMO * free of artificial hormones * soy-free * 99 percent lactose-free * cold processed * processed without chemicals * processed in a way that retains lactoferrin * low-carb, with less than 1 gram of carbohydrate per serving * low cholesterol, with only 10 grams per serving (just 3 percent of the Daily Value) * just four ingredients, without a bunch of extra unpronounceable stuff Besides the pure whey protein isolate, the only other ingredients are natural french vanilla flavor, sunflower lecithin, and xanthan gum. I think the combination of sunflower lecithin and xanthan gum is what makes this product mix up so smoothly and not be lumpy or grainy. I usually either shake it up by hand in a bottle or smoothie shaker with a powdered smoothie or shake mix (sweetened with stevia), or I whirl it in the blender if I am including fresh fruit. In either case I usually just use water for the liquid to keep the carbs down. And keep the calories down, too. Its pretty filling, even though it is just a drink, so it is helping me maintain a healthy weight. The actual product is very high quality. The one thing I would change is the packaging, which is not readily recyclable. It comes in a cardboard can with a metallic paper lining, metal bottom, laminated metal/plastic pull-off inner seal, and an outer plastic resealable lid. I would prefer packaging that is 100 percent recyclable.
