This machine has a very satisfying fit and finish to it with a lot of thinking and experience behind its construction, allowing us to be set up and shampooing our carpets in very little time. Once underway we were surprised to see how dirty the discard water became and found the entire process to be easy and intuitive. A genuine 5-star purchase.

The new design makes it so easy to clean. The dog hair and dirt that used to get stuck at the bottle of the machine and in the rollers, come out so easy. It now had the ability to detach easily and clean. The steam and water combo cleaned my carpet. I pre-treated some stains in my new carpet, let it sit for about 30 minutes and then started the MACHINE!!! I am in love with this cleaner...You will love it.

Ive always liked Bissell products and the companys support of animals. I needed a carpet cleaner, so when I saw the commercial for this one and found it here on Amazon, I jumped at the chance to get it. Our beloved Jack Russell passed away a couple years ago and were now adopting a new dog from a family member who cannot keep theirs and she arrives in a few weeks. Weve been redecorating and/or renovating rooms and I decided to do a REAL Spring cleaning as well. Obviously that had to include cleaning the rugs and carpets. When I moved the nightstand next to the bed, I found 8-yr. old coffee stains. I remember exactly when the man spilled the coffee, trusted that he cleaned it all up and forbade any future libations in the bedroom. As pictured, you can see that he didnt clean it all but, you can see in the other photo that THIS BISSELL REVOLUTION HYDROSTEAM DID!!! AND, I couldnt even use the steam function because I couldnt properly fit and run the floor unit between the bed and wall. Its a non-movable, king-size bed on a platform with drawers, so I crossed my fingers, then used the hose attachment to clean this part of the carpet. The cleaning solution is amazing! Im convinced that this unit can handle any dirt or stains thrown at it by 4- and 2-legged animals. I used all 3 settings and was happy each time. The quick-dry setting worked well on area rugs over the hardwood floors. So all rugs and carpets are clean and fresh. The solution has a fresh scent that nicely permeated the rooms, but not overwhelmingly so and it quickly dissipated. My hubby and I are both sensitive to fragrance and had no problems. Its a process to disassemble and clean this unit but hey, same with my vacuum cleaner. It was an easy process and, as instructed, I left the tanks and other parts out to air dry in the utility/laundry room before reassembling. The only thing that took a couple of days to fully dry was the hose, even though I hung it with both ends down and shook it out each day. It is a waffled hose, so thats kinda-to-be expected. A storage bag is provided and hangs easily. Everything fits easily in the guestroom closet. Great product!

Powerful and cleans so well! Its very easy to use and exactly what I expected!

Important things to note: • Handheld attachments cant use steam • Wont make old carpets look brand new • Uses tap water to fill • Great at removing allergens • Handling and assembly is easy • Top comes off the dirty water tank making it easy to clean The handheld attachments can be used to vacuum up wet and dry messes. Steam does not flow through the hose. The long hose attachment would be great for carpeted stairs. It definitely can help lighten old stains on carpet, just dont expect perfection if its a really old stain. I used it on a 4+ year old soda stain and it definitely helped lighten it up and made it way less noticeable. The steam pre-treat was exceptionally helpful in removing/lightening stained areas. There was an area in front of my entertainment center where my dog had peed multiple times. I used the quick dry mode in this area. It made a noticeable difference. The carpet dried quickly. For the rest of the carpet, it does very well to help remove allergens and to really get a deep clean into the carpet. Great item for anyone that suffers from allergies and/or has pets that tend to leave messes behind.

They failed to mention in the description that the attachments do not use steam. Only the base. That was the main reason I spent the extra money on this. Only found this out in the instructions which are in the box. Very misleading. Will be returning.

I previously had a Hoover carpet cleaner and recently switched to this Bissell. First, it is about 35% wider, has a steam mode, has gallon fresh water tank, 2 brushes and handheld attachment. It works way better than expected, which is always a nice surprise, however I havent used attachment yet. Tip-Use hottest water from tap for best results.

So far this carpet cleaner works better than my previous one. (brand name starts with H). The solution dispenser is consistent and not intermittent. The steam is quick and hot. Very impressed. LIKES + Works Great + Consistent Solution Dispenser + Good Steam DISLIKES - Heavy - Value

The pros-- it is super easy to put together and get started using it. It has everything you need included in the box. It even has 2 different kinds of cleaning fluid. The pet upholstery tool works really well. It is easy to clean the tools and the tanks. The cord is nice and long so you can really use it just about anywhere. The hose is also nice and long and seems like good quality material. The cons-- it has no holder for the accesories. Just the bag for the hose, and I guess they expect you to put everything in the bag. I feel like it would be better to have a place to clip them on the unit itself. The pet upholstery tool does not have steam capability which is kind of a big deal to me. If Im spot cleaning messes like that I think the steam is really necessary and I was surprised to find that it doesnt steam. Really disappointed in that. Overall, it is a decent unit. The cleaner worked well and it cleaned the areas I needed to clean; albeit without steam...

We got a dog that sometimes has a hard time holding his pee when he gets excited, which has really been annoying. We bought some cleaner in a spray bottle to help clean up after his mess, and while it works okay, its been really bothering me and I feel like we havent been able to fully get it out of the carpets. I was really excited when I saw this because I was hoping it would help this issue, and Im so glad we picked it up. This has made our carpets smell/feel like new again. Its pretty easy to assemble (probably about 10 minutes form unboxing) and use, and included enough cleaning solution to clean the carpets in our house without needing to buy more yet. Make sure to follow the instructions from the included booklet and youll be able to enjoy clean carpets soon. This is also great if you have kids too. We have a playroom upstairs that the dog isnt allowed to go, and I was surprised how dirty that floor had gotten, and how much cleaner it was after running this cleaner through it. It picks up so much, and really has helped make our house feel cleaner. Its solid and well-built, and I feel it will last many years. Our last one has lasted about 8 years, and this one is much nicer and I think if you just use it a couple times a year youll get probably a decade out of it, which makes it more of an investment. The price seems fair based on the performance we got out of it, and saves us money over professional carpet cleaning.
