> 24 hourThis isn’t a carpet shampooer, it’s a MIRACLE worker. Most of my house is tile and laminate but there is carpet in my bedroom, office and then there is this 7x10 rug in the living room. I purchased the rug secondhand on market place and it needed a deep clean. My other carpet cleaner stopped working and I was desperately in need for a fix for this rug (as you can see in the photos). I have three dogs that shed like it’s their only job on this earth. I literally vacuumed over this rug non stop for 25-30 minutes straight making sure that I got it as clean as possible before shampooing. AND YET the shampooer pulled up hair that the vacuum couldn’t quite get!!! Pros: - I love that it is light weight and doesn’t hurt my back at all to use. - It is super easy to put together/ very user friendly. - It obviously does the job it was intended to do. - A little spray goes a long way for each spot. - The suction was strong enough that my carpet was barely damp at all after going over it a few times. Cons: - The formula tank is small and I had to refill it a second time just doing the 7x10 foot rug. - I wish the cord was just a smidge longer. - It didn’t completely remove stain. (However it was ketchup and it did better than I expected. So honestly I can’t really be upset at this). Overall, this is a GREAT investment and for the price I don’t believe you can find a better product. Do yourself a favor and buy this one. I went back and forward on a different option before buying this and I am SOOO glad I did.

> 24 hourThis has no bells or whistles and I didnt have high hopes when I opened the package and saw how small and flimsy it looked. But I was pleasantly surprised with the results! Ive only used it 1 time, so I dont know how long it will last, but it did a pretty good job getting all the dirt out of the 1 area rug I have. The cleaning solution that came with it worked great with no residue left behind!

> 24 hourMy dog threw up dark brown food on the floor yesterday and left dark stains on the carpet so I needed something quick as my $170 hoover broke after 6 months! Smfh the Bissell worked GREAT!!! And even though its smaller than the hoover I prefer it. Easier to use all around and fits in spaces the hoover couldnt. You will have to stop and go more frequently bc its smaller but the results are worth it. Completely removed the stains but thats not what this review is about. I closed on my house back in June 2022 and we had gray carpet...over time it started to look beige to me...so after spot cleaning my dogs vomit I noticed it was extremely light in that spot...so I was like wth? Did this solution possibly bleach my carpet? I decided to do a larger area and realized my carpet was restored BACK to the original grey we had when we first moved in. It had just gotten THAT dirty smh. I have an untouched room in my house (havent decided what to do with it yet) so the carpet is still brand new, thats the third pic. Compare that pic to the other 2 pics where I did a clean. Im about to order more pro max clean+protect solution!!! I noticed 1 con though, if you let the machine just sit on the carpet while running without pushing it back and forth it will try to dig into the carpet so dont do that as theres a chance it could rip your carpet. Update: puppy just threw up ...see before and after pics :) I cant believe I came back to this review to update it to show yall how good this thing works. Again, GET THIS NOW!!!

> 24 hourThis is a very easy-to-use carpet shampoo machine nicely sized for home use, although I wouldnt recommend it for a very large house with acres of carpet. It is NOT a vacuum, as such -- you want to always vac the carpets thoroughly before using this machine, because its not designed to pick up heavy sand, bits of paper or thread, or small objects like dropped paper clips. It does, however, do an admirable job on ground-in dirt and stains. I do wish the two containers -- the top for cleaning mix, the bottom for waste water and dirt -- were larger. As it is, if youre being careful and doing overlapping strips, you dont get a very large area finished before its time to dump the waste and fill up with more clean water. I suspect, however, that this complaint is probably true for virtually ALL home-sized cleaning machines. Thats why if I were doing a whole house or large empty apartment, Id probably go rent a larger machine. But for small jobs (spills, soiled entryways and hallways, etc.) this machine totally fills the bill. The unit seems to be very nicely and thoughtfully designed generally, and well assembled. It was packed very well. But do resign yourself to popping another $20 to $30 for a large container of Bissell Cleaning Concentrate (for upright machines) as the tiny starter bottle goes quickly.

> 24 hourWow this carpet vacuum did the job! Resorted our whole basement and was even able to navigate the stairs. I was so impressed. Pro tips, definitely vacuum first to get general dirt and debris. Second tip, it does seem to go through a lot of shampoo. Might want to get two if you are doing a large area.

> 24 hourThis machine cleans! My old Hoover carpet cleaner died. Until I used this one I didnt realize how poorly the Hoover was cleaning. I think the carpets are cleaner than any time when I used the Hoover. I wish I had before and after photos. The cons are not really cons considering the price. Plus: lightweight, easy to maneuver, really cleans. The solution tank is marked for water level and solution level. Cons: small water tank, wastewater tank hold down clamps require some muscle, the plug on the wastewater is probably weakest link and you must hear click to know it is seated, and no extra tools. Remember this the baby brother of their lineup. Be prepared for lots of debris as this guy pulls up as it crosses the carpet. I keep the dust buster handy. This is best for small rooms. My 20 x 20 foot room required three tanks of solution. Their directions suggest you apply solution up and back. I also rinse with one run of plain water. For whatever reason they do not want you to use boiling water.

> 24 hourNeeded a carpet shampooer in general but especially because I have two cats and one is very picky about his litter box and it doesnt take much for him to decide to use the living room carpet instead. Looking through different models to find a decent budget one that wasnt too expensive I found this one and saw many good reviews. I decided to check if there were any used units available to save some more money and ordered one listed as used in good condition with cosmetic blemishes. When I got it in it turned out to be brand new. Everything was still wrapped and bagged, and neither water tank had any trace of ever being used nor had any odors. So the verdict? It cleans well but I have three minor quibbles with it. The first is the position of the power switch. Its on the back and almost at the bottom. This requires you to either bend down to the floor or lift it high enough to access it. Its not very heavy but still a bit awkward and I wouldve preferred a switch near the top or on the handle somewhere. The second thing concerns spraying solution. Commonly with upright shampooers youll start by moving it back and forth over the carpet while leaning it backwards at an angle with the head up off the surface and locked so you can spray cleaning solution as a presoak where needed. Then once the required amount of time has passed for the dirt and soils to have loosened and started dissolving you put it back down and shampoo like normal. With this machine however doing this will waste a good amount of the cleaning solution as it immediately sucks what looks like half of it back up. Im guessing either the suction is that strong, the spray nozzle is too close to the intake, or both. The third thing is minor and barely warrants mentioning but its still something I wish were different. The waste water tank is held down by clamps on either side. Youll have to bend all the way over and reach nearly to the bottom on both sides to snap them open. This isnt difficult and they snap open/closed easily but having used a different brand in the past where the waste water tank simply slid up and out, I wish it were more like that. I docked only one star for all of this. Its still a nice budget machine and Im satisfied with it.

> 24 hourBought this carpet cleaner to combat long-time, set-in stains that were here when I bought the house and had been made worse by traffic. My carpet is an older Berber, and it did fine with this machine. There was no snagging or pulling at any point. This is probably the best money I’ve spent in a really long time. As you can see in the photos, the dirt and grime was lifted completely from the carpet. The machine was incredibly easy (and satisfying) to put together, and it was simple to use. I bought a bottle of solution with my purchase, and I definitely think I would’ve needed it despite the cleaner coming with a smaller bottle of solution. But as you can see, these stains were big and tough. I vacuumed the hallways thoroughly before using the cleaner. It is a bit loud, so keep that in mind. It took several trips to either refill the solution tank or empty the dirty water tank, but those hassles were completely worth the results. This machine does have a trigger, and the instructions recommend pressing the trigger while going forward and backward. I ran the machine over the spot several times during the non-triggered (sucking) phase, and the carpet was damp at worst. It took no time to dry completely, and the smell of the solution did not stick around like some cleaners tend to do. In the picture with the door, you can see the stain has some rounded areas. I tried my much smaller Bissell pet spot cleaner on that stain. It was mostly successful, but you can see this cleaner removed the stain completely. Cleanup was only mildly tedious, with having to really rinse the dirty water tank, and then remove the plastic piece where the machine sucks up the water to clean it. I left everything loosely put back together to let it all dry. Again, these tiny hassles are completely worth it to me. I cannot wait to use this appliance again, especially knowing maintenance will be much easier each time. My carpet feels new, and it looks great. I know other Berber owners had issues, but I would imagine newer, higher pile Berber may react differently to the suction of this machine. My older, flatter Berber did fine. If you’re on the fence or have been eyeing this machine for a while, here’s your sign to buy it. It really works.
