> 3 dayI have replaced sever screens on some older ipads. None of them are easy, but they all worked. The iPad 6 is a little more complicated, but I finally got it put back together. The only problem is that now the digitizer is not working correctly. It is not responsive in all locations. The touch button seems to be OK but I cant onlock the screen because I cant enter all my passcode numbers. There are only 2 tabs to attach for the digitizer and they both appear to be snapped in place and not damaged.Ill try to contact the seller for troubleshooting suggestions, but from all indications this could be a bad one.

> 3 dayUp front I will say that this was my first repair. That being said I have 9+ years of engineering education and do many projects. The screen was connected properly. It was positioned and placed down properly. But the alignment must be slightly off as the digitizer screen will only work on the perimeter and across the middle. There are dead zones going across the upper third and lower third of the screen. The old screen was removed and cleaned thoroughly for a good attachment. So either the tolerance of error for position the screen is that exact or my skills were subpar. So it is impossible to say so I have it 3 stars.

> 3 daySimple and straight forward - use a YouTube video and just pause it when the video gets ahead of you. Looks just like original and operates like new as well. If you install this and nothing works, one of your connections probably isn’t secure, or came loose. Take it apart and reconnect them. I would recommend putting it back together first without the screws or glue, to make sure it’s working correctly. I would also use some kind of rubber-type adhesive in addition to the tape that comes on the screen.

> 3 dayReplacing the screen is relatively easy (really the only difficult part is using heat to unglued the screens and pry apart). IMPORTANT - the touch screen has areas that do not work at all. I thought maybe I made a mistake but after buying a new digitizer I realized this is a poorly manufactured product. Read the reviews, many people have the same issue. Spend a few more dollars and get a reliable product!
