Replacing the screen is relatively easy (really the only difficult part is using heat to unglued the screens and pry apart). IMPORTANT - the touch screen has areas that do not work at all. I thought maybe I made a mistake but after buying a new digitizer I realized this is a poorly manufactured product. Read the reviews, many people have the same issue. Spend a few more dollars and get a reliable product!

Maybe it would have worked if I knew what I was doing. Anyway the glue tape did not stick at all.

This is not an easy replacement, but, if you persist it is one which will bring your iPad back to like-new performance.

The tutorial on line is worthless, there music playing during the entire video, and no one is speaking to or describing the installation steps. Also, there was no protective film on the inside of the screen,

This was amazing, watched a YouTube video in details and replaced the screen within an hour. My iPad was beyond damaged with glass shattered all the way but now looks brand New! This product is amazing!

The screen does not work in all locations. On mine I cannot use the space bar our change the from numbers to letters

The screen is a perfect fit and provides the proper connections. It contains the digitizer (see video showing its operation prior to full assembly). It does not include a home button, but if you want to retain fingerprint capabilities, you need to use your existing home button. This worked very well for me and I will buy this again if needed.

I was able to replace my cracked screen for about 40$ instead of the 250$ a repair shop was going to charge me.

Half of the screen stopped working in less than a month not worth it tbh
