BLACK+DECKER 16 Inches Stand Fan with Remote

This fan really cools things down. I wish I had ordered a fan of this good of a quality years ago. And the color of it is very chic.

I didnt even pay attention that it had a remote. So I got spoiled leaving the remote where I can control the fan without getting up. After a couple months , the remote stopped working completely. The fan still functions perfectly fine , although Im not a huge fan of the manual buttons , theres a little dimple , but that just means the button is above the dimple. Waste of tactile design.

The front and rear grill is not perfect matching. It spends me time to assemble them. It push hard to clip them. I am a little worry about how to disassemble them if I want to wash the blade.

Okay, so this fan is very quiet and blows nice air nicely on each speed. However, the only downside to this fan is that its a tad difficult to put this thing together. Making it a extremely difficult task to remove the front to clean. I attempted it and its so tight with no give I broke off 2 of the tabs that hold it together. If the manufacturer of this could take care of making the assembly and disassembly of this easier, Id rate higher.

Works great better than AC and wont effect your tired old BONES

I’m really happy with my purchase! The packaging was easy to open and the assembly directions were clear. It was pretty easy to put together. The metal cage around the fan blade comes in two circular halves and requires pushing the two together until they snap in. One of the circular halves was a little bent/distorted from shipping which made this a challenge, but it was possible to do with a little effort. I’ve caught my finger in the fan blade at full speed and survived to tell the tale with no injury so I’m pleased with its safety. The four cats in my house have yet to knock the fan over which is a testimony to how sturdy it is while still being light enough for me to easily move it around. The fan at the top bends down and up easily and the height can be adjusted although it’s kind of a pain to do. It comes with a remote to change the fan level but you cant change the setting from rotating 180 degrees to a still position from the remote. You have to physically pull/push a plug at the top of the fan. It’s not silent but it’s quiet enough to sleep with it on. Overall pretty good.

It was a used product so it was a lil scratched and bruised but it works just fine!

I received this item with a remote control that didn’t have the back of the remote control included. I’ve called Amazon, who referred me to Black and Decker, who referred me to W Appliances, who referred me back to Black and Decker. Mind you, I was hold for each call AND NEVER GOT A RESOLUTION! I am so irritated. I didn’t want to return the entire fan because it’s a nice one. I just want the battery closure of the remote control. However; it is 1:27pm right now and the original Amazon rep said she’d call me at 2pm to see if I got the problem solved. I can’t believe any of this.
