Our upstairs gets really warm in the summer wven with the ac on. Got this fan for our room just needed something that would help cool the room down not anything fancy. This fan does a great job, comes with a remote (already lost lol), and great white noise. It was easy to put together and is sturdy. Definitely not quite which I like but both my husband and daughter say that the light that indicates that the fan is on, at night the light is too bright. It doesnt bother me. We ordered another one for the kids room.

The remote for this fan will turn it on and off and adjust fan speed. It does not control the direction of air flow. You can set it to sweep a simi-circular area or pull the tab on the back to keep it stationary. The remote allows for three settings. Low, medium, high. It is reasonably quiet and creates a good amount of air on low. Assembly was pretty easy. Attaching the front grill took a little bit of muscle. It only took about 10 minutes to assemble. No more getting out of bed to adjust the fan speed! Just press button! (Or set the timer. Thats the only other feature on the remote).

Purchased on Jun 17, 2021. Today the outside plastic band that holds in place the metal grill covering over the moving fan parts became so brittle, it broke when the fan fell over and was very easy to snap it into smaller pieces for the trash. Fan looks more streamlined without the cover and the blades will be easier to clean, but one would need to watch where one steps near the fan.

Bought this fan after I walked into my previous fan in the middle of the night and injured both the fan and myself (I have a major sleep disorder). The good: This feels VERY sturdy. Having a heavy round base rather than the crappy quadpod Im used to on fans at this price point makes me feel a lot more secure that I cant easily tip it over and make it unusable by snapping off the legs. I wouldnt call it quiet because it is a strong fan blowing air, but its not loud, and it is a very powerful fan. The OK: Thanks for the remote but...this really doesnt need a remote. I cant think of a lot of use cases where a fan is going to be far away enough from someone that a remote would be necessary, but I dont know. Ive already misplaced it several times but maybe youre better with your remotes than I am. The bad: There is simply no good reason for this to have LED lights. They dont do anything useful and they are BRIGHT. Ive already invested in blackout curtains, etc, because I need a DARK room at night, and this is literally bright enough that I can read large print by it. It is so bright that three layers of duct tape do not prevent it leaking, and because it is right near the button theres only so much you can cover. This is an utterly pointless design element and it dropped my review two stars because it had affected my sleep.

It all works great, but cover is hard to put on.

Much heavier duty than some off brands previously tried. Remote is helpful, wished the oscillate feature was by remote though.

Quiet , strong airflow, arrived quick

First there were some problems/damage caused only by USPS, the box was delivered very quick, but damaged, my area was receiving torrential rains, so I understand the box being wet but it had obvious physical damage (impact, dropped, bumped) and it was soaked as if it stood in standing water. The there was minor cosmetic damage, one small piece of the fan shroud cover-grill was broken off the plastic half. The metal front-half of the grill had bent bars that were easy to push back into shape, no biggy. The box was soaked but the contents were dry, still in their plastic. Once assembled, the two halves of the fan shroud being tricky to snap together without a break was challenging, it functioned as advertised. The remote is handy and though noisier than my previous fan, acceptable. Overall happy with the product, not so happy with USPS...
