Greater than one weekI wore this at a HOT outdoor event last weekend. The Night before it ran out of power after 2 hours. So I charged all night long for the next day, expecting the same longevity. The event was 7 am until 6 pm. As expected, it ran out of power after 2 hours. With no way to recharge it, I had to suffer in the heat. In the good old days, I would have had spare batteries and would have lasted all day. It is hard to find items like a fan that uses alkaline batteries. Even my newest Apple imouse has to be plugged in to recharge and is unusable until it is charged. I miss the old days.

> 3 dayIf youre looking for a fan that will blow on your face, this is not it. This fan blows on your neck and its very difficult to maneuver it to blow on your face even a little bit, as the air seems to blow downward rather than directly out. If youre looking for a neck fan, its a great one. The 5 different settings make it customizable. For the most part it sits pretty comfortably around your neck (I actually thought it felt more comfortable upside down when not in use), and in wearing it for an entire day at Disney I found myself forgetting it was even there. Battery life is unbeatable. I like that its discreet and although I noticed several other people wearing them, most people probably had no idea what it was. Is it worth $40? No. I think somewhere in the $20-30 range is more reasonable for this product.

Greater than one week1st time buyer. i think it is a good item and i will definitely get a lot of use out of it. only downside is, even at low speed, its a bit too loud. if somehow they can put the motor on the neck side, maybe better. but still a pretty good product

> 3 dayIt seems that after my cancer and chemo I get hot for the least little reason (or no reason at all), even in the winter and especially in the warmer months, so I needed something to help me survive. After about two weeks using this neck fan I am extremely happy. Even on low its a bit louder than expected, but that could be due to the fact that it is so near the ears. However, I dont care if it sounds like a hurricane, its a blessing and I am no longer swimming in sweat. I wish I had bought this months ago, it would have made my life so much easier.

Greater than one weekI bought a black and white one of these neck fans. My friend bought another cheaper one. We brought our neck fans to Europe. My friends neck fans stopped charging after one use. These continued to work. Also these are better designed with a slight curve to it and an opposable joint at the back of neck that allows it to be more comfortable to wear and doesnt fall off as easily. I recommend these. I only wished the fan noise was just a little quieter at the low setting. But these are not any more quiet or loud than other neck fans in the same class.

20-11-2024Just got fan and am quite pleased. It has several speeds, including an intermittent setting. It is louder than expected, and I wish there was adjustment in air direction available. Haven’t had it long enough to judge battery life. It is better made than other brands I’ve experienced..

Greater than one weekI enjoyed having it while at a family event that took place outdoors. The only con I have against this product is the noise. It’s very noisy! While a family member was speaking, you heard them trying to speak over the noise coming from my neck fan. If they could fix or reduce the amount of noise it makes, it would be a 5+ product.

> 3 dayI purchased this fan used and on day one I did have some issues. It powered on okay but one side didnt appear to be blowing any air. I looked more closely and it was working on both sides, but one side was significantly weaker and didnt sound right. After a few minutes the weak side failed completely. I was disgusted and ready to return it. After a bit I tried again, and this time gave it a smack or two and voila, the other side started working normally. So something seems to have been loose. Either way, if it happens again I am going to return it. For now it is working well. The fact is that I bought it used, but the seller didnt have it long at all before trying to unload it and I am not sure that they damaged it. So there is a possibility that these may not be built to the highest standards. It is also possible it was beaten up in transit. Having said all that, I also want to say that I have another neck fan with the blades that you angle toward your face and while I like them a lot, the fact is that the battery doesnt last forever on high so I wanted to have a second fan that I could swap in while I charge the other. And while my other fan works well, it is a little goofy looking and can turn spin around your neck when you are doing stuff, bending and moving around and be a huge pain. So I thought I would try this style of neck fan and see if it was an improvement. Having used them both now, I have reached a few conclusions. This fan doesnt seem to spin as much on my neck as the other, but thats probably because the neck of this fan has a different shape and tends to stay in place better. Second, it looks better on me than the bladed fan. On another note, regarding the bladeless claim for this fan, it simply isnt true. This fan has a blade on both sides and you definitely could get your hair caught in it. But you do not have to angle the blades toward your face like you do with the other style. Those are a bigger hazard for people with long hair than this fan. The blades on this are angled to the side. Still a potential hazard for long hair but not nearly as much. No issue for me though as I have short hair. This fan blows the air straight up your neck and cheeks and it feels nice. It doesnt stand out as much as the other one in public and this fan is also quieter. Battery life seems about the same to be honest. I use them on high most of the time so I get a few hours of use, and thats fine. Just be careful buying these because my experience so far has me uncertain how long these will hold up. My other fan has lasted a few years already with no signs of slowing down. This is a good fan and if it can hold up for awhile I would consider it a good purchase.
