    Works as described. Very easy install, literally a couple minutes, connects quickly and solidly. Must use BN Link APP to setup - I could not get to install through SMART Life App like some of my older BN Link products. App calls for linking through 2.4ghz wifi - that being said, I ignored error and linked through my 5.0ghz - no issues. Works great with Alexa - just turn on BN Link routine in Alexa App after BN Link APP and device install and everything will be auto recognized in your Alexa App.

    I own a few BN-Link products. One had a problem. I worked with Steven and Dianna. They learned and understood my problem and resolved it post haste. I am very pleased with BN-Links customer service.

    I use this outdoors on my smoker. I wait for the full shutdown on the smoker then tell Alexa to turn off the smoker.

    The unit says it can be synced with your smart phone. However the instructions do not match the video. When calling the listed phone support, no one answers during business hours. Chat does not respond, says if not answered wait for response on your e-mail. It says in app UNIT ONLY WORKS WITH 2,5 Gig wireless. I have Spectrum 2.5 with many items on system. App says 2.5 is shown for my router yet message says phone WiFi is 5 gig. The unit is BNLINK and app is available. However video says look for Tuya app. I register to both, neither sync with the phone. Also to sync manually there is no Smart Dimmer Plug option. Video says chose Outlet WiFi, then clicks on the first icon which is not the correct one in the app. The Alexa connection on the video is so fast I didnt go near it, having already spent an hour trying to sync this monster. I would have kept it but you cant dim the bulbs from the unit, only on and off. I bought this in Feb so it cannot be returned to Amazon. Avoid BNLINK if you value your time.

    Installation can be confusing, expect to spend a few minutes on that part. I use it with Alexa to turn on/off outdoor holiday lights and it works perfectly.

    Works well, Android app is easy to use. Main negative is the older wifi standards. Had to dig out an old wifi router to use it. Most new wifi router only have 5 GHz. This device only works on 2 5 GHz

  1. Modify the device name so your Amazon Alexa can easily recognize the name. For Example: Living Room Lamp, Bedroom Light.
  2. Use Alexa App or Computer to set up your Amazon Alexa.
  3. In the menu bar, go to "Skills" and search for "Smart Life". Enable Skill, then type in your login info from your app account to finish the account linking.
  4. Ask Alexa to discover devices. Then you can control your devices using voice through your Amazon Alexa product.

  1. Tap on the “+” sign on the top right corner of the screen
  2. Choose “Add Manually” >”Electrician”> “Socket (Wifi)”
  3. Enter your wifi network’s name and password and tap next
  4. Plug in your smart product and press the power button for 5 seconds until the indicator light begins flashing quickly (you may hear a click) to reset the device
  5. Tap “Confirm indicator rapidly blink”

Please note: Steps may vary

  1. Tap “+” symbol (top right corner)>“Add Manually” >”Electrician”> “Socket (Wifi)”
  2. Tap “Net Pairing Mode” on the top right corner of the screen >Select “AP Mode”
  3. Press the power button for 5 sec until the indicator lights begin flashing quickly, then press again for another 5 sec until indicator lights begins flashing slowly
  4. Tap “Confirm indicator slowly blink”
  5. Select “Go to Connect”> In your phone’s settings, go to the wifi networks, then select the wifi network that says “Smartlife-XXXX”
  6. Once connected to the network, go back to the app and wait for connection
